Belle maison de luxe sur la montagne de Killington, à seulement 4 maisons de la piste de ski Great Eastern où vous pouvez skier ou faire du snowboard pour descendre à la télécabine Skyeship et accéder à toutes les remontées mécaniques et aux pistes de ski de la station.
Ce 2600 SQ. La maison de luxe pied sur un acre a toutes les commodités avec 2 lits maîtres avec salle de bains et un autre lit w / salle de bains avec douche. Smart TV à écran plat dans 3 chambres et le salon principal. Système audio Sonos dans le salon / cuisine ouvert avec une grande cheminée en pierre centrale, pouvant accueillir 8 personnes sur une table en acajou antique.

Had a great 3 night stay at this property. Wonderful main level, super comfortable and amazing fireplace. Host was super responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love this pkace. It has all the room we need. We attend the Spartan race every year at Bear Mountain & the house is in walking distance.

Lovely Killington Christmas

We had a very relaxing weekend at Brighton Rock. The hot tub is very cool and it was a perfect spot for Christmas for our family with two teens.

Amazing stay!

Extremely comfortable property with everything you could need for a weekend of skiing in Killington. Within ten minutes to slopes and dining/ski shops on the access road. Indoor hot tub after a day of skiing was incredible to have. Sadie was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The house was exactly as advertised. It had all the amenities you could need. It was just close enough to town to go to dinner but out of the way for quiet and privacy. The hot tub was wonderful an the end of the day. Perfect get away.

Great ski weekend!!!

We had such a great stay, and would highly recommend to anyone! Everything was as described, the house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed.. The driveway was plowed very shortly after the snow stopped- Definately need a 4WD vehicle! The house was also decorated for Christmas which was a great touch. We would most definitely stay again!

Home was spacious yet cozy…location so convenient to ski trail/lift. Family enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Owners very responsive. Driveway tricky with the new snow but we were prepared. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful place to stay

I stayed at Sadie’s beautiful home with my kids and dog for 4 weeks last summer. The location was perfect for us, the house was comfortably luxurious, and had all the equipment and conveniences we could possibly have needed. Sadie responded immediately to the few house issues that arose during our stay and very understanding when we inflicted some accidental wear and tear. It’s a beautiful place and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Killington area.

Great winter weekend house!

We stayed at the ski house for 3 nights and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was such a simple journey from the Capital District, and we felt like we were truly away - in a nicely appointed home on a mountainside. The house has large rooms, beautiful views, and great volumes of space. The open plan upstairs was perfect for hanging out, cooking, dining, and enjoying the fire all together.

Well-appointed house & great location!

This house was perfect for our large family ski trip with our adult children and small dog. It was very well-appointed, including amble kitchen wares, towels (in bathrooms and by the hot tub & front door), shower products in the shower (shampoo, bodywash, etc.), firewood, games, and more. Access to the ski trail was just up the street, and the resort and downtown were only a short drive. As vacation property owners ourselves, we were very impressed with this property, and will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you Sadie!

Great home base for skiing and boarding

Comfortable, clean, and spacious home. We were a family with kids 12 to 17. Enjoyed the hot tub after being on the slopes all day. Not strictly ski in, ski out, we either easily parked at Skyeship lift, shuttled ourselves to end of Rim Rd, or walked back as needed. Home owner very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great cabin, highly recommend

The property is a unique and very cozy cabin in the woods. You can easily walk (5 mins or so) to the nearest trail which is easiest difficulty to ride down and reach the gondola. Speaking of gondola's you can see them running from the windows of the cabin which is pretty great. Plenty of firewood, very clean cabin. The indoor hot tub was well maintained. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies to cook. A clear guide to the surrounding area's and the check in/check out process was available for use in the house. I highly recommend enjoying this home if you are looking for somewhere to hunker down for a ski trip.

Could not stay as had not been cleaned

Great location and check in went smoothly until we noticed the property had not been cleaned. Property was a little more worn than photos suggested but hard to make comparison since we saw it as prior renter left it. The cleaner had not come and the linens were not changed. Unsure if hot tub would have been cleaned but would not have used it in condition we saw. Mistakes happen but with a long drive and no alternatives available this was a painful experience. Owners have cameras outside but did not register that cleaning had not happened until we arrived after 10pm.

Sam, thank you for writing a review albeit just one star, I am assuming you would have selected zero stars if that was an option. You are absolutely correct that the house had not been cleaned, unfortunately our cleaning company had dropped the ball, this resulted in us terminating their services. We did advise that there was clean spare bedding, pull out beds and mattresses available at the house, we were surprised that you chose to drive back home at that late hour. Our cleaning service was at the house the following morning. I tried to reach out to you on more than one occasion but I guess you weren't in the mood to talk. You of course have been compensated in full for the lost weekend, we left messages to that effect. Please accept our apologies. To anyone reading this review we pride ourselves in the condition of our home, this was a one off occasion that will not happen again. We have been operating for the past 5 years without serious mishap as you will see from the many 5 star reviews we receive.

Delightful Stay in Killington

We were in the area for a weekend event at the Grand Hotel which was only 5-8 minute drive away. The home was very roomy and well taken care of. The only problem that could be a major hinderance is that the stairs are steep leading to the second floor where the kitchen and living room are located and for a handicapped of elderly person it can be very challenging. We had to contact the property managers for a couple of issues but they were very quick to respond and even asked follow-up questions to make sure any problems we had pointed out were taken care of during our stay. Speaking of problems we did have a visitor the first night we were there--a bear. All he did was knock the bear protected trash bin (which had been cemented into the ground) over but they couldn't open it. Not a major problem but worth a smile. Sorry the owners have to cement it back into the ground again. We all agreed though that we would gladly stay there again for a nice family get together.

Robert, Thank you for writing a review, we welcome constructive comments. Your comment on the stairs is acknowledged, the Architect designed the house as a traditional European ski house with bedrooms downstairs and main open living area upstairs, the connecting stairs although code compliant at the time are relatively steep with handrails each side. It's good that you got to experience the local wildlife, Yogi comes around now and again and knows where to look for food. We changed out the trash receptacle last year to a bear resistant model, he can't get in but can show his strength to move it around. The previous model was made out of wood, he would have distributed it around the garden in search for a snack. Glad you enjoyed your stay, you are most welcome to return. Sadie

Wonderful home, great fireplace, nice owners

The good: fireplace was incredible, excellent wood, it was beautiful! Master bedroom, bed very comfy and it was the best place for quiet. Location to the mountain, although was not a ski in and out but you can walk down to the one of the trails or quickly drive down to the lodge. The owner were easily reachable when we had a mishap in the driveway upon our arrival. The bad: driveway, as owners stated make sure to bring a four wheel or front wheel vehicle since it is steep. The hot tub, although I didn't get to use it the two friends within my group who did use it said it had a mildew smell to it, it had just recently been filled that morning by the spa guy so I'm not sure why it had an odor. We recommend bringing hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels since we had very little paper towels upon arrival and no hand soap in both bottom bathrooms, minor things but it might save you a trip to the store. Overall, we had a great time, the kitchen had plenty of appliances, misc. items and some spices which we appreciated.

Thank you for your helpful comments. As the house is on the side of the mountain and perched high above the road the driveway is sometimes tricky to maneuver. We suggest 4 wheel drive vehicles would be appropriate for a trip to the mountain but have had many guests in 2 wheel vehicles....this is the first incident we have had. We actually witnessed the reversing mishap of your friend on the security camera and I immediately called our plowing crew who came to site to assist. We are planning to install some more rigid sight barriers along the drive this summer to help reversing. The 'mildew' smell from the tub is probably attributed to the sulphur content of the mountain well water. We recently installed a new filter system at the house which should eliminate this and will monitor its performance. We have reminded the housekeeping team re the comments on soap, paper towels and spare toilet paper, this shouldn't be any issue going forward. Fall getaway

Overall a great location, house, and experience. Check in: Check in was seamless. The host provided great information and gave us the details on the area prior to our arrival. The house: The house was beautiful. It was clean and spacious. It is perfectly as described in the listing. The rooms all had their own in-suite bathrooms and were very comfortable. The host also let us know about extra pillows, and blankets that were available if needed. Everything was clean, from the bathrooms, to the kitchen, appliances, and living areas. The kitchen had everything you would need, including cookware. It was very easy to clean up once done. The bathrooms all had a full shower. The stairs up to the second floor are steep, but there is a railing if that is an issue. The house was dog friendly, and the host provided us with blankets to cover the couch if the dog was to get on the couch. This was important to us since we brought our little corgi. The area and host: The area is perfect for a ski/snowboarding getaway. We were there to see the foliage and it was very central to many restaurants and activities. There are many restaurants approx. 10 min away by car by all the lodges and ski resorts. You are also 30 min away from any big box stores like Walmart and supermarkets if needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions. I would gladly come back. 10/10
