Amazing host and really nice place very comfortable. It’s a nice place to reset and enjoy your time. The area is really quiet as well I will definitely stay again !

This was a great property, especially for those with dogs. Fenced yard with room to roam while keeping them safe. Centrally located, necessities stocked & a comfortable experience. Host was very hospitable. We have family in the area & would definitely stay again.

Home was very charming, updated historical home. If you keep that in mind before you stay you will be pleased. Not a walkable family neighborhood--it is off a busy road and not safe for children to walk with you given the neighborhood and surrounding areas. A very great stay if you are just needing to walk to Mercy Hospital and back. It has everything you need to accommodate a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better—centrally located with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Check-in was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Christmas Stay

We visited family in Springfieeld and needed place to stay with our dog. This property was an excellent location and good spot with our dog. Easy check in and check out process.

Will stay again

We decided to get this place to be closer to our children for Christmas. This was a very beautiful house with a great location and we truly enjoyed staying there. My one and only critique is that the listing said three bedrooms but we only had two bedrooms. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay and we do plan on staying again!

This cozy house made our trip!!!

Thank you, Ashley! The house is welcoming, warm, spotless and quirky in the best possible way! Love your sense of Ozark Lodge style and the comfortable touches that put us all at ease! My sister, brother and I (and our three dogs) made it our refuge for the difficult task of moving our dad into assisted living. It was a tough time--but the house brought us all together with its unique charm, thoughtful amenities (love those plush throws, high quality mattresses and washer/dryer!) and quiet neighborhood vibe. A wonderful place to "come home to" after several difficult days. Ashley was a wonderful, attentive host--immediately responding to our frazzled questions--and everything ultimately went smoothly with a comforting sense of both support and privacy. Will definitely be back--all together or individually! Such a difference from anonymous hotel rooms (both comfort-wise and budget wise)! Thank you, again, Ashley! 'Til the next time!!

The host took her time replying. We were there at 4pm and I hadn’t received any check-in information - finally after calling and sending several messages she replied and said she sent the message at 8am which she did not! I looked back through all my emails and no message was sent to me at 8am. We finally got into the home at 4:15! When asked if we could request a late check out she replied it was booked and had to be cleaned which was a lie as I looked to book it for another night. The home was not clean! Dog hair was everywhere! Wall plug-in’s were broken and when you plugged your phone into one, sparks flew. Both bathroom sinks drained very slow - water finally would go down! The stainless in the kitchen looked as it hadn’t been cleaned in forever, it was smeared and dirty! To enter the house, the bush in front was hanging over the sidewalk - you had to walk in the grass or it would slap you in the face. To top it off, the fire alarm in the downstairs bedroom was gone and the wires hanging down! We opened the back door to go out and the handle fell off - we had to push it back in. The pot holders in the kitchen had not been washed and had dog hair all over them. The chairs outside in the back were horrible as the seats were completely ripped so not able to be used. These things were totally unacceptable and I can also go to social media if you would like me to! I also took photos for proof!!

This was a nice home. However it was not clean. The upstairs shower had mold in the bottom or the shower pan both inside and outside the shower. The kitchen was not well stocked. There was only one sharp knife. The one pot found was filthy with burned on food left in the cabinet. I don't cook when on vaca so I did not use any of the kitchen. however if I had cooked it would have been very inadequately supplied to most other places we have stayed. No salt, no pepper, no sugar. The only small appliances were a toaster and a blender. It was disorganized things just placed in drawers haphazardly. Laundry soap was only enough for one load. Beside the washer/dryer stacked unit was filthy with a plastic cup, a large wad of lint and various other garbage items left on the floor. The coffee pot needed to be descaled. We bought vinegar and tried to clean it but the descale light would not go out. Conversation with the host was very slow and did not address not of our concerns. She did offer to bring over laundry soap on our last day when we had sent her messages days before. She never did respond to the problem with the coffee maker. The towels were very small, thin and stained. On the back porch there was only one small very weatherd worn out table and one very worn out plastic chair. Nice home but money needs to be spent and care taken to make it more useable for travelers. It needs a good cleaning. The vacuum as broken and full of stuff.
