We are so glad that we found this rental. Everything is always clean, Hosts are super friendly, and it has all the necessary items needed in the kitchen. There is a keurig and a regular brew coffee maker. Also AC, TV, Grill, and private deck.Thanks

Debbie & Rick's place was perfect! GPS led us straight to it. The upper room was super cozy with so many nice touches. Gorgeous deck and yard to sit and enjoy. We were there to visit Grayson Highlands (highly recommend). Then went tubing at Zaloo's on Debbie & Rick's nearby list. Debbie also gave us some nice hiking trails nearby! Highly recommend The Upper Room if you're looking for sweet hosts and a cozy, comfy, clean spot to stay.

We had a very nice stay at Debra's Upper Room. The space was clean and well thought out with a kitchen area and bathroom with a very nice shower. The amenities were thoughtful with a pod coffee maker and a drip coffee maker. Pods, sugar and a container of creamer in the fridge were definitely appreciated. In room air conditioner functioned well to keep us cool at night. Gorgeous area to visit and Deb and Rick couldn't have been friendlier.

Clean & Cozy

I had such a great stay. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. The hosts were so friendly and provided everything one might need. The huge deck was a great bonus, I just wish I had more time to sit on it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it, especially if you are a woman traveling alone. I felt very safe here, like staying with family.

Sweet Serenity!

This place was so peaceful and quiet. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to get away from the maddening crowd of the July 4 holiday. We were able to enjoy quiet cooler evenings . We enjoyed coffee as we stared at the evening stars. This hosting couple are so gracious and so sweet. Everything we needed was already in supply, the coffee, sugar creamer, even my favorite Earl Grey tea. This place was immaculately clean, and you can tell they take great pride in offering this little piece of heaven.

We had another wonderful stay here. We just love the private deck! Everything is just as described. If you are leaning on the fence about renting this place, go ahead and give it a try. You will love this place!

The Upper Room was very clean, cozy, and welcoming. Bed is very comfy and kitchen is well stocked. Debbie and Rick are a delight and always make sure we have everything we need.
