The Regent House was charming, historical and the perfect location to enjoy all that NOTL has to offer. The beds were extremely comfortable, and each with its own bathroom was a wonderful feature. Melissa and Paul have created a comfortable and memorable retreat, and had all the amenities we needed and more.

We traveled to NOTL to visit family nearby. These accommodations were perfect! The hosts, Paul & Melissa, were very accommodating - met us upon check in to give a run through on the property. The location made it easy to pop in and out of the downtown area and take advantage of all that NOTL has to offer; it's just 1.5 blocks from Queen Street. The interior was beautiful!! All rooms were very comfortable. We had our adult children with us. So it was nice to have the downstairs to gather but then have everyone in their own private room in lieu of staying at nearby hotels. We would absolutely stay again in this beautiful home!

We were 4 couples enjoying a weekend away together for a wine tour. Ended up staying in both nights bbq-ing and cooking in the very well stocked kitchen. We wanted for nothing. We were greeted by our hosts who made sure we were familiar with every aspect of the house. Beds were so comfortable - everyone slept so well. Photos don't do this home justice. The sitting area at the back of the house sat all 8 of us comfortably when we brought in one padded chair from the kitchen. Less than 5 minute walk from all of the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend The Regent House!

We loved this special historic house! we stayed here for a Christmas wagon ride and the NOTL parade. the location was perfect with plenty of parking. The house was big enough for us to spread out and had special places for us to come together! State of the art kitchen for cooking! The hosts were so gracious and made us feel welcome! We will be staying here again!

Could not have asked for a better experience for a week with friends. Paul and Melissa are absolutely wonderful hosts and the home is perfect. The bedrooms are comfortable and all have bathrooms. We are a group of women who have known each other for decades. We take a trip every year and this was the best accommodation yet! The location is perfect and we could walk everywhere. Niagara-on-the-Lake has always been a special place for us. Every time we came to stay it seemed that Life naturally began to slow down. You feel this as soon as you arrive and it gives you a chance to appreciate what life has to offer. There are so many unique and wonderful places to see in the Niagara area including live theatre, wineries, music festivals, historic forts, museums, shopping and the most amazing display of flowers in a town centre we have ever seen. We are also located on the horse and carriage route. Beautiful Horses pulling fancy carriages and their guests can be seen all through the day and evening as they stroll past our front door. It's simply magical to see and hear them....

We have always wanted to live in NIagara-on-the-Lake and in 2010 that dream came true.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Regent House is literally a 30 second walk to Queen Street which is the centre of Historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are also a 5 minute walk to all three of the Shaw Theatre venues. Within a 20 minute drive there are over 35 excellent wineries to choose from. There are also many fabulous restaurants within walking distance or a short drive.

If you like biking, hiking or running there are many trails and pathways that offer breathtaking scenery. A couple that we really enjoy are the Niagara Parkway and the Bruce Trail. The Niagara Parkway is a paved path that you can walk, cycle, roller blade or run on which follows the Niagara River from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Niagara Falls and all the way to Fort Erie. Along the way you pass historic monuments, parks, a butterfly conservatory and of course the Falls. The Bruce Trail is a UNESCO designated area 700km long that has so many beautiful waterfalls, wildlife and scenery. It's our goal to hike the entire length at some point.
