Nestled in York Heights, just 1 mile from Long Sands Beach, our uniquely stylish retreat is centrally located to all southern Maine has to offer!
Whether you are seeking breathtaking views of the iconic Nubble Lighthouse, enjoying the seaside while working remotely, or in need of a relaxing stopover on your way Down East, we welcome you to the Tree Haus.
Set between our syrup-producing maples, the Tree Haus blends coastal charm with modern comfort for those seeking relaxation & adventure alike. The Tree Haus is an approximately 350sq. ft. studio space with a living area, desk/workspace, bed, bathroom with walk in shower, and a small mini fridge and coffee area. Please note that there is no kitchen or dining area. We welcome you to bring your dog but please note that they cannot be left alone in the space at anytime.

Great space for a couple. Very quiet area, but close to beaches, restaurants and York Center. We had beautiful weather and spent several days at the beach. Also took a nice stroll on Fisherman's Walk to Wiggly Bridge. Very "chill" time. Just what we needed.

First Vacation In Maine

Wanting to check out the New England area I chose York, ME to see the area. The location was great for what I wanted, an hour to Salem, MA for a day trip and an hour to Portland, ME to see lighthouses and York, ME for the day to see a beachside town. The rental was new and had everything as advertised.

Beautiful & Tranquil Studio Getaway

This is a beautifully appointed guest house in a tranquil, quiet and conveniently located area of York. The perfect touch down point was located between so many of the areas attractions & restaurants. I would highly recommend Meredith's property - my husband & pup had a wonderful long weekend (and it was a treat to get to see Luna's cute face too from time to time as well!). Will definitely be back!

Pick this one!

This is an immaculate guest house perfectly set up for two people. Meredith was an excellent host, and the check in process was so easy. The neighborhood was quiet, but not too far away from the beach or town center. Pricing was more reasonable than any hotel in the area. I highly recommend you book this if you’re looking for a clean and quiet place to stay that has everything you need.

Very cute studio. Clean and cozy. Great spot to bring bicycles for a one mile ride to the beach. Great restaurant within walking distance. Was informed that the Vrbo listing is “not up to date”. There was not a coffee maker on property as listed and pets are not allowed to stay on the property unattended (which we were notified upon arrival.) Pet owners should be aware of this before booking.

So comfortable!

I wish I could stay longer! I was so relieved that the check in process was easy - this being my first Vrbo. I was a little nervous. But Meredith made it very easy to understand. The air conditioning was fabulous - very important in this heat. And the shower was easy to use - sometimes these new tech items can be complicated. The decor was beautiful and the place is brand new so it was truly lovely. The bed is SO comfortable! I brought my pup along and he had plenty of room to roam. The location is perfect too! 5 stars for sure! Hope to come back!

The Tree Haus was a detached garage built in the 1960s that we've had the pleasure of renovating and turning into a cozy and stylish retreat. It less than 50 feet from our main residence where we work from home as designers.
