The Space:
#StayInMyDistrict Port Orford Ocean Overlook property! Our Port Orford home is the perfect choice for your next Oregon Coast vacation. Located just across the street from the ocean with expansive views throughout the house, and walkable to several dining and shopping options. Overlooking the ocean with gorgeous views and wildlife watching. Enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset or have your morning coffee on the deck in the sunshine! Large floor to ceiling windows create a warm and open feeling while embracing the views! This updated home is comfortable, clean, and spacious with modern furnishings and amenities making this the perfect Coastal getaway!

This is a 3 level home with the Main Living area on the 2nd level. Like most view homes, the gathering space is on the mid-level to take advantage of the coastline! There is also a separate and private guest home behind the property.

The Mid- Level (located on the 2nd level) Living area is furnished with a large comfortable sectional with plenty of seating for a large group. Flat screen Smart TV set up for Roku streaming with WIFI. Relax and enjoy an evening catching up on your favorite episodes or snuggle in and read a book while watching the sunset. Gorgeous views, and a wall of windows in the living area make it a nice place to relax and take in the scenery! There is also a desk and lamp for working from home.

Open kitchen to dining and living area to enjoy the views while preparing meals. Stainless appliances and a large bar make eating efficient and enjoyable! Fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishes. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner seated at the dining table with seating for 6 or simply sit at the bar with 4 comfortable stools.

Washer & dryer for guest use located next to kitchen & mid- level bathroom with a stand up shower, vanity and fully stocked with quality linens, a hair dryer and all bathroom essentials.

The Mid- Level bedroom features a Comfortable King bed with high quality linens and pillows. There is closet space and a dresser for guests personal items. This bedroom also has a ROKU TV for guests enjoyment. Bright windows bring in sunshine with ocean views and privacy curtains can be drawn for privacy. A comfortable desk & chair make this room the perfect place to enjoy a book, get some work done, or some quiet time taking in the beauty.

Sliding glass doors lead from the main living area to the deck. Perfect for enjoying the views while enjoying a glass of wine or cup of coffee! There are 4 Adirondack chairs for lounging on the deck overlooking the sea! There is also a BBQ Grill that is SHARED with the guest house located on the ground level.

The Primary Suite (3rd Level) is located up the stairs on the upper level & features a comfortable King bed with high quality linens, a ROKU TV, & a desk. There is a luggage rack, plenty of closet space and a dresser for guests personal items. Window with plenty of light, Ocean Views and curtains for privacy.

Just outside the Primary Bedroom there is a balcony sitting area overlooking the living/kitchen area with views of the expansive floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is a great place to enjoy a book, or relax!

The Primary bathroom (3rd Level) located outside the bedroom includes a deep soaking tub/shower combo, a large vanity, and plenty of space for guests personal items. Fully stocked with quality linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash and hairdryer for your convenience.

The Ground Level- There are two exterior entrances on the ground level to the home. There is a Spacious, open, family room/game room with a shuffleboard table, a dartboard, and there is a table & 4 chairs set up for some board games & a fun night playing games as the beach! The open space has 2 full pullout couches that can be laid out for comfort, or for an additional sleeping area. This space is a great place for a movie night and features a 50” TV set up with ROKU. Tons of windows bring in light and MORE views of the Ocean!

Bed #3 (Ground level) features a Comfortable King bed with high quality linens and pillows. There is a ROKU smart TV, additional hanging closet space and a luggage rack. Privacy curtains for resting.

The 3rd bathroom (Ground Level) features an updated vanity and fresh paint, along with a shower. Fully stocked with quality linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash and hairdryer. All paper products provided for your convenience.

Garage is NOT included and locked for Owners Personal Items. There is parking directly in front of the house for up to 3 vehicles. Parking directly in front of the garage is for the separate guest apartment is and is NOT available.

We do allow up to (2) pre-approved dogs with an additional pet fee of $50 per pet. Unfortunately, we do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. Be sure to let us know that you plan on bringing a pet and to read and understand our Pet Policy before booking with a pet.

**PLEASE NOTE: There is a separate & private studio apartment located at the back of the property above the garage. There are NO shared ceilings or walls but there may be guests at the back of the property. There are also separate parking areas and the only SHARED amenity is the BBQ Grill which is central and for both units to utilize.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home. There is an attached apartment unit but there are NO shared walls and it is above the garage, The driveway is RESERVED for the studio guest, so please park directly in front of the home. There is a SHARED BBQ Grill available for guest use!

The Neighborhood:
Located in a residential neighborhood blocks from downtown Port Orford and directly across the street from the Ocean. If you walk directly across the street from the house and down a small road, it takes you directly to the dock, which has all of the ships on a dry dock and they are crane lifted into the water. There is a small beach & Sandy area. There are some benches spaced out spontaneously and sporadically for private sitting areas with gorgeous views of that Port.
The Port of Port Orford in Oregon has a unique "dolly dock" that's one of only two in the United States and six in the world. The dock has cranes that lift and retrieve vessels, and homemade trailers, or dollies, that store vessels when not fishing. The dock also has two hoists and no boat ramp.

The port is located on the open ocean, so moorage is only possible during calmer weather. The port also doesn't have an ocean bar to cross, which means more fishable days per year.

The port is a working port, so visitors should keep an eye out for fork lifts and moving boats. Some say it's not great with small kids.

Getting Around:
Located between Bandon & Gold Beach along the coastline. This property is best with a car to see the local sights, however it is a short walk to the downtown area with dining & shopping options and everything is a convenient drive from the home including grocery stores and restaurants. You can fly into North Bend Airport, Bandon Airport, Eugene, or PDX. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into Eugene and making your way down the coastline.

We do not live on site but are readily available via text, phone or email. We can also be available in person for emergencies.
