Bienvenue à une merveilleuse escapade pour un week-end ou plus près du Point Reyes National Seashore. Perché sur une colline au milieu des madrones et des chênes, cette belle maison avec un plan d'étage ouvert donne sur la baie de Tomales avec vue sur les collines au nord de Pt. Reyes Station. La maison dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert, y compris les poteaux d'architecture au sol donnant le sentiment d'une maison dans les arbres dans les bois. Le salon principal a de grandes fenêtres donnant sur les bois et à la baie de Tomales et dispose de deux zones de grenier qui peuvent être utilisés pour dormir ou sortir. En outre, deux chambres et une salle de bain en bas offrent une intimité et une oasis de calme. Situé à quelques pas de Chicken Ranch Beach et accessible à tout ce que la région a à offrir - plages, grandes randonnées et restaurants locaux.

We spent a rainy long weekend in Point Reyes that might have been very disappointing if it hadn’t been for the beautiful views of the bay afforded by the many large windows. The space had many sleeping options and there were plenty of spaces to hang out in. The kitchen, while small is very well appointed (no dishwasher just in case that matters to you) but plenty of pots and pans and knives to cook with which is a lot of what we did since we were stuck inside and a lovely long dining room table to eat at. Lots of good art to look at as well. Communication with the host was easy and gracious.

This house is a gem overlooking gorgeous Tomales Bay. I could have looked out the window for hours. It was a great setting for a work retreat with two co-workers. And the beds are very comfy!

Beautiful House in the Forest

We had a wonderful stay in Inverness. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to hiking and the town. The house was clean, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of Tomales Bay from the deck. We’ll definitely be back!

Great get-a-way overlooking Tomales Bay

Comfortable, cozy house - plenty of room, yet intimate at the same time. AMAZING views of Tomales Bay and the surrounding hills. Close to so much - Point Reyes National Seashore, the local villages, and so much more. Enjoyed it a lot, and would stay again.

This is an absolutely beautiful property surrounded by trees with a view of the bay.

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous retreat. Views of trees from every room and a bay view from one of two decks. Wonderful areas to meet, talk, eat, read and relax.

Great place to hang out with family

We stayed for three days and despite all the things to see and do around here we never wanted to leave. Went for one hike and that was it.

Beautiful house with excellent view

The house is spacious, clean and comfortable; we enjoyed the view of Tomales Bay as well as the close vicinity to Inverness and the beaches. The house was well stocked with towels and bedding. Highly recommend!

Great Vacation Spot!

Three college chums in our 70’s thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to the wonders of Point Reyes. When we were done sight seeing, we sat back in the comfy deck chairs and soaked up the view of Tomales Bay. The location is quiet- completely surrounded on three sides by woods. Sisters reunion

Front deck looking over Tomales Bay was a winner, especially for a full moon rising. Coziness of various sitting areas worked well for us. We enjoyed the variety of outdoor activities Point Reyes offers, including Saturday’s Farm Market.

Gorgeous property, but recommend for warmer temperatures!

The house and the property are absolutely stunning! The view is beautiful in the house is just as much so on the inside. The only thing I would say is that we came in the winter time and we were cold most of the time. I recommend this property during warmer temperatures where the house will be warmer and the Balconies usable.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the home. Since the home is in a forested area and has floor to ceiling windows, it does not stay toasty warm. During your stay we tried to keep it warmer, but the windows don't make it easy. To let you know, we are now working to add floor to ceiling (removeable) curtains to help keep the main level warmer for guests who would like to use them. :)

Wonderful home

We loved this interesting and quirky home with tons of windows and a beautiful deck with a view of the water. Our boys loved the loft areas so much they wanted to sleep there instead of the bedroom. Way more space than we anticipated, you could easily have two families here. The location was great, easy access to Pt Reyes, lots of hiking and beach opportunities. We would love to come back again!

Great getaway cabin!

Clarissa's place is an architectural gem, full of interesting art and furniture, as well as great views of the woods and the bay. The front and back decks are quiet places to have coffee or a glass of wine, and we saw deer passing through almost every day. The house is ideally located to explore the National Seashore, and is a 10 minute walk from a beach on the bay. There are several great restaurant options within 10 minutes. Would love to come back!
