âDun Reachâ is a local term for when you finally reach your destination after a long or difficult journey, and as you arrive at this charming villa, youâll be delighted to find that your very own island oasis awaits. This is a special place for owners Susan (born in Tortola) and her husband Peter who bought and renovated the villa only last year, and who are excited to share their gem of a home exclusively with Villas of Tortola guests.
As you arrive at this charming villa youâll be surrounded by the vibrancy of Caribbean colour. Lush greenery, bright blooms & spectacular views over the ocean to surrounding islands are the perfect backdrop to a dream vacation.
The layout is ideally suited for 2 couples as each bedroom is tucked away in its own private cottage. The layout blurs the lines of indoor & outdoor living, & the design is the epitome of modern Caribbean elegance.

LIVING AREAS:
The main cottage is where much of your day will be spent, with living room, kitchen, dining room and half-bathroom. High, vaulted wooden ceilings and plenty of large doors and windows flood the entire space with light, air and ocean breezes and from almost every corner of the property youâll be able to enjoy a sparkling ocean view. The living room has plenty of comfy seating for kicking back & reading a book or (if you can bear to look away from the view), chilling and watch the Smart TV.
Huge doors on 3 walls lead to outside spaces overlooking the islands and various idyllic spots to enjoy the sunshine and views.
Owner Susan is a keen cook and it shows in the attention to detail in the kitchen. Youâll have everything you need and more from pots, pans, crockery, stainless steel fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher to ice machine, cappuccino machine, frozen drink maker, juicer, AND thereâs even an ocean view to enjoy whilst youâre doing the dishes. The kitchen flows through to an indoor dining room with again, gorgeous views and access to the pool area and outdoor dining space.
BEDROOMS:
Both bedrooms are their own private sanctuary, with ensuite bathrooms, California King beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, choice of AC or ceiling fans, private balconies and doors that open to let in the ocean breezes and sounds of the surf. The primary bedroomâs ensuite has the addition of an outdoor shower (trust us, showering under the stars is good for the soul) and the doors in the bedroom also open right into the pool so you can literally step out of bed and jump in for a swim. Youâll also find a washer & dryer in the suite for your convenience.
The guest bedroom has its own mini fridge & there couldnât be a better spot for a morning coffee than its private balcony overlooking the sea.
STEP OUTSIDE:
The outdoor spaces are just as important as the indoors at Dun Reach, and youâll be able to enjoy breath-taking views from all corners. Set into the luscious green hillside overlooking Long Bay, you really do feel a sense of peace and tranquillity here. The crystal pool is at the centre of the home, with loungers to catch some rays, and a stainless steel built-in gas BBQ for grilling. Enjoy dinner with friends in the (covered) outdoor dining area which also has comfy seats to lounge on for those who prefer to relax in the shade.

is on Beef Island in the East End of Tortola (connected by bridge). Itâs the only airport on Tortola and where you'll fly into.
âŽïž WEST END FERRY HARBOUR (3.2 miles away)
The closest place to catch a ferry to connect you to the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas & St John) and fellow BVI Jost Van Dyke
đ Although there are ferries to connect you to other islands, the public transport in Tortola is basically non-existent and thereâs so much to go and see but taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 14 miles long by 3 miles at its widest, but itâs a mountainous island and the roads can be quite rugged. We can help you to reserve a 4WD SUV or direct you to recommended local car rental companies who understand that good 4WD vehicles are mandatory to explore with confidence. They can offer delivery to your port of entry or villa (we can help organise you a taxi to take you to the property) & carry a selection of cars & jeeps. Jerry's Car Rental is our favourite and the easiest car rental company to work with online.
