Peaceful cabin with spectacular river and scenic views.

Enjoy this Great peaceful cabin getaway with a large yard for those outdoor activities, or sit out on the covered porch that overlooks the Ohio River as the boats and barges pass by. With this amazing view there is lots to see as you unwind and decompress from those difficult days. Inside this 1,632 sq.ft cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen to fit all your cooking needs. One queen bed upstairs in the loft including a full bath. Along with another comfortable queen downstairs with a near by full bath. A large sectional with a sofa bed with extra pillows and blankets. A tv and dvd player with a few dvd’s and board games to enjoy on rainy days. Back outside on the open deck area you will find a bbq grill set up for propane or charcoal. Outdoor furniture with propane fire pit and a 5 person hot tub.
Maximum occupancy is 6 person

Extra guest fee does not apply to children under the age of 18. Please message before booking so I can remove fee if this applies.

Hot tub fee can be removed also only before booking. Please message before so we can remove fee and lock hot tub.

There is a boat launch ramp just three miles away and across the river in Maysville, Ky you can explore local business and shops in downtown Maysville or maybe venture down to explore Augusta, Ky.

The National Underground Railroad museum is one mile away. Along. With several hiking trails.

The cabin is approximately one mile from paved road. The majority of the gravel access road is a township road that can be rugged. We recommend a vehicle with medium to high ground clearance. During the winter of the area experiences ice or heavy snowfall, the road maybe difficult to keep cleared and not well suited for 2wd vehicles. As a result during the winter months we recommend the guest have 4wd or AWD.

Quick update the township road was just redone with new gravel. It’s super nice! Pictures of it are posted. Thank you!

This cabin was a great weekend getaway. The cabin itself is very comfortable and the views are spectacular. Christopher is the best host we have had the pleasure of working with. He had the cabin stocked with everything you could want. Would rent from Christopher, at this cabin or anywhere else, again.

The cabin was very clean and also the hot tub was great. We stayed downstairs only because there was only two of us. It is a very old cabin, so it will have imperfections. I would stay there again. Everything you needed was there. Thank you for the great stay.

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The view is absolutely stunning from the view of the fog in the morning over the river to the amazing view of the lights and bridges of Maysville— perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Maysville is across the river and is a really cool town. There was a BBQ festival going on with good food and live music. The cabin itself was spotless and clearly well taken care of, with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. The cabin had phone chargers in both bedrooms, extra fans, card games and outside games to play. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch hospitality!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The view of the river from the porch was spectacular, the hot tub was nice and clean and worked great. This was the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. Our host Christopher was very cool and hospitable. We'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Off Road Gem

My family of 5 stayed at the cabin for 3 nights. It is off the beaten path but accurately described in the listing. The property has a gorgeous scenic view and was spacious enough to get our preteens approval!! The cabin is well kept, stocked and clean. Christopher, the host is very helpful and reaponsive. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a little off roading with a beautiful view! We cannot wait to come back to this off road gem.

Close to perfect

This wonderful cabin, high top of hill above the Ohio river, and across from the east end of Maysville Kentucky is just almost beyond words. The big porch across the front with rocking chairs to watch the barges go up and down the river and the trains go up and down on the Kentucky side. Even though it’s quite rustic with original cabin walls on part of it, the appointments are lovely; almost as though the owners live there. Unusual in a rental and really appreciate it!I track birds on my phone based on their song; 12 different ones at a time! We only live two hours away and so many that we never have at home.It rained one morning and the most amazing rainbow happened that started on the Kentucky side and came all the way across to literally right behind our cabin! It hung there for over a half an hour.Very close to my family‘s home and we were able to go and look at things that are sweet memories to me.

Anniversary getaway

We had the best time at this cabin! It had a beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed coffee in the hot tub in the morning. It was very clean and secluded. We have recommended this to a bunch of friends and plan to make a trip back!

Great views

It was very spacious and a cozy cabin with great views. The only negative I can say is the road to it was not the greatest. Definitely would want an all wheel drive vehicle. But the views once u get to the cabin were spectacular! Also it was very clean and smelled great!

Very relaxing

We enjoyed the hot tub and the propane fire pit. Sitting on the deck having lunch overlooking the Ohio river. Lovely accommodations and comfortable furniture. We had 3 deer stroll near the cabin on our final day. You do need a high clearance vehicle or truck to navigate the road up to the cabin. The view is spectacular.

This trip was just what we needed! The view was stunning! Everything was so clean, and the host was super responsive for all my questions! Fully stocked kitchen and even had a crock pot! And it was so nice he provided k cups and even hot coco ones! This place was a 100/10! Definitely recommend! Don’t think about it just book it! 😄

Amazing view of the Ohio River.

The view from the property is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. My wife and I stay in many cabins throughout the year and I can say we've never had a host that was more accomodating. The cabin itself, gives that feeling of home, which is pretty rare in my experience. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.
