SEJOUR A ATHENES

Nous avons très bien été accueillis par MARIA qui est prête à vous aider et donner des conseils Malheureusement nous avons été déçus par l'appartement qui n'a rien à voir avec les photos proposées . Mais nous lui avons laissé quelques instructions d'amélioration pour les prochains locataires Sinon l'appartement est bien situé pour se rendre dans le centre d'ATHENES Evaluation 3 pour l'appartement 5 pour MARIA Merci encore à MARIA pour sa gentillesse et disponibilité

A great apartment in short commute to tourist center

This apartment is ideal for a group of people of 4 or more. It does require a commute to the city. (Allow a half an hour). You have a short walk to a bus that connects you to the subway (underground), which was a fast and efficient way of getting around. The walk includes an underpass that is filled with graffiti, so is uninviting. This is the only real downside to the trip. It is well furnished, clean and well stocked. The apartment did NOT have any telephone. So be sure to have a cell phone. Th owner, Marie was fantastic. She was there to greet us. She told about the neighborhood, and how to get around. She then even took us, by car around to see how to get to the subway. Within the block there is a coffee shop for breakfast, a taverna for dinner, and a bakery and convenience store. I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to do the commute.

Our Dearest Guest! Thank you so much for your kind words we appreciate it a lot. I do have a Mobile phone i provide to all of my guests with a local Sim Card.As i explained you i had to go to the store to botg unlock the code and buy a new charger as it was lost from the previous guests.I didn't had much time to do it while you were here otherwise i would not had a problem at all to provide it to you as i proposed. On my other apartment i even include a Normal Telephone where all Guestscan call in all the country for free!!! You don't find this even on a fivr stars hotel or if you find it YOU ARE CHARGED there on me you are not charged. So my second Apartment has a home telephone (Tottal for free)and for the other ones i provide my guests with a Mobile phone (with some units inside) if it's finished you can just add a card of 8e. It's faciliating a lot people. The route to the center (as we are at the center toi)it's not houlph way by bus+subway but 10m. Of course if you calculate it with waiting all means of transport/traffic by taxiit can be a little bit more buy by taxi f.e it's not more than 8m. For the Graffiti on the underground pedestrian i can't do anything i wish i could but of course this is not a disadvantage comparing all other things. For 4-5p its very worthy too renting a car as you can find a car by 30e per day and you easily can park outside of our home.Its not forbidden /with card for our apartment like many other parts of the CENTER so this is faciliating too many people who rent a car too. You were a Fabulous Guest of Us too and we Thank you for prefering our Apartment with a lot of Respect. Warmest Regards Santa Claus Marie! Highly Recommend

Marie was an excellent host and the flat was very elegant and cosy - like on the pictures. She offered us plenty of advice on our stay, places to visit, etc. She was also very flexible in terms of picking us up and taking us to the airport. We have also received a Greek wine as a goodbye gift - a very welcome and unexpected gesture. :) Very caring and engaged host - do not hesitate to stay at Marie's place.
