very cute charming cabin. the view is amazing. the only problem or concern was that there was no way to lock up the cabin while we were gone. we will be back and recommend this place to family and friends.

This is an well-appointed cottage with AC and modern appliances right on Thayer Lake. It's stocked with everything you need. We will definitely return!

Cozy cabin on a quiet lake. There is a short, incline with small pebbles from parking area to cabin. Great firepit area. Perfect location; we were able to check out Traverse City, Petosky, Charlevoix, and area around Torch lake. Thought it was odd that cabin did not have any places to hang clothes or wet towels (only one small towel bar in bathroom, no hooks anywhere in cabin). Also kitchen not very conducive to cooking due to lack of counter space.

Great little place. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs. The fire pit was great and the grill fairly clean, especially compared to most places I've stayed.

Super accommodations and incredible views and location. Close to all the attractions but also somewhat secluded. Cabin was recently remolded and was perfect for my grandson and I. Would book again!

The cottage was very well kept and cosy. The furniture was beautiful and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The view of the lake from the cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. The lake itself tended to be weedy and mucky by the dock. This was no problem for adults but maybe small children would not like the muck and weeds. My only suggestion would be a railing to hang on to by the small step into the cottage. My elderly husband had a little trouble managing it with no handrail. All in all I would recommend this cabin to adults who come to relax and fish and enjoy the beautiful view.

We loved our stay. The lake is so peaceful! The neighboring cabins are close, but only one other couple was there and there were no issues. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for peace, but then you are near Alden & Elk Rapids - both charming strolls near water.

I was looking to get-away to a quiet, clean lakefront property with my 2yr old lab. So grateful I found Pine Cottage! It is a beautiful setting, with thoughtful touches throughout the property.

We had a terrific stay at Pibe Cottage. The cottage was very well stocked, organized and clean. We had great success fishing in the lake. The kayaks and boats were very nice to have. We will definitely be back!
