The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to everything you’ll need for your stay. The whole waterfront development is beautiful and connected via a walkway that is excellent for walking and running, making it easy to walk to Whalers Village for shopping. The Honua Kai property is beautiful with multiple pools & hot tubs. Dukes restaurant is a popular spot and highly recommend reservations well in advance if you’re planning to have dinner. We snorkeled right in front of Dukes and the reef is beautiful. Lots of fish and swam with turtles almost daily. You can rent snorkel equipment at the activity centre located close to Dukes. Highly recommend having a car and the Safeway located in Lahaina is excellent for groceries. The Times Supermarket is within walking distance to the property and decent for essentials. The condo was excellent. Clean, comfortable bed, quality bedding and the booking process and communication with the property manager was absolutely exceptional. We absolutely loved our stay in this area and look forward to returning.

Great location

Love the location of this resort and this specific unit. First off, we prefer staying in North Kaanapli vs.over by Black Rock or Whalers Village. It's less crowded and way better snorkeling right in front of the resort. This unit has both mountain views and ocean view. It was nice to have beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler bag all included as well!

Beautiful oceanfront stay

This was a very nice property in Maui. The house was clean and the check in process was easy. The property is in a very good location with easy access to the beach, walking trail and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. Few things that could enhance the stay - 1. Provide hand shower and step stool to help kids in the bathroom 2. Including mid stay cleaning service for bookings longer than a week.

Great family vacation spot

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Having a well supplied kitchen allowed us to make all our breakfasts. There were all the kitchen tools you could possibly need. Having a washer/dryer was amazing too. With a toddler, it was also great to have a separate bath from the shower. The bed was really comfortable and it was so nice to have a separate space to go after we put our kiddo down to bed before we went to bed. Great little view of the ocean and the resort is PERFECT for families- so many kid friendly pools and close beach access. 10/10

Really amazing!

The property and staff are top notch! We had an issue with a noise and the staff was there in 10 minutes and corrected in. The unit is meticulous , and everything you would ever need is provided. Also, for what was offer this was an incredible rate.

Wonderful

My husband and I loved our stay at Honua Kai - Hokulani 414. It was and had everything we wanted and more… clean, comfortable, stocked with all the essentials, beach chairs, boogie boards, small cooler, but our favorite was the oversized balcony with a view of the mountains and the ocean. The resort is big with several pools spread out on the property to choose from and is located in a prime spot on Kanapaali beach. We look forward to visiting again and will definitely rent this room again.

Great condo in Honua Kai and steps to the beach

The condo is fantastic. It is in the main tower at Honua Kai an check in was a breeze; we went to the valet desk and the parking pass and four waterproof wristband keys were waiting for us. The condo was sparkling clean and has a very nice kitchen and a lot of space for two adults and two kids. You can't see it in the pics but the balcony does have a partial ocean view. The Honua Kai property is magnificent; two pools, two hot tubs, a slide and steps from the beach on Kaanapali. There were beach chairs and boogie boards inside the condo for us to use. We would definitely stay again.

Spring break

My husband and I recently spent a week in early March on Maui at this wonderful condo/resort. I was most impressed with how many little extras this condo had. More than one roll of toilet paper, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent. I was pack a few extra and I did not need them for this condo. I loved the view. Mountains and ocean. Yes the ocean is not a direct oceanfront but I still saw a whale from the lani!! Absolutely stunning resort and wonderful condo. Definitely will stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Hokulani 414 had everything we needed. The property felt clean and staff was always masked and courteous. Check-in was easy and had no issues communicating with management (which was hardly needed). Would happily stay again.

Can't go wrong with Honua Kai!

This was our third visit to Honua Kai. This unit was fantastic! Clean, well stocked and even a partial view of the ocean and mountain. Honua Kai is always a winner and for our family of three, this unit was perfect. Mahalo!

The place was spotless! The most dreamy views and perfect location. Communication with the property managers was excellent and very easy to get a hold of at check in. We can’t wait to come back!
