This is a truly unique and special place to visit! We stayed in one of the cabooses and thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgic ambiance. Very clean and had all the amenities needed. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone visiting the area, fun for the whole family!

Awesome stay at the 50s style caboose in Buffalo Creek! Immaculate inside! We enjoyed the farm and animals and our puppy did even more. We were allowed to check in early which maximized our adventure there. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

If you want to stay somewhere you will never forget, book this caboose now! It was so charming, extremely clean and notably unique. Where else can you sleep in a caboose and watch bison roam around!? Walking around the property was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Cheryl was the perfect hostess. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed in a 50's themed Caboose on a Bison ranch. It was clean and a perfect resting vacation. We sat on the porch and watched the bison roam within 10 feet from our perch. An amazing weekend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The caboose was so clean and nicely done. The farm was awesome and we enjoyed the animals and scenic area. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed in the 1950's themed caboose. It was amazingly cute and so comfortable. We could sit on the deck and watch the buffalo roam the fields. I loved the fact it was pet friendly since my dog is my best friend. I got to experience this wonderful place with her. She loved the goats, Lamas, ponies and buffalo. we enjoyed exploring the grounds and shopping at the store. I highly recommend this place. Unique experience.

Beautiful property, with well appointed caboose cabins, many interesting animals to experience up close and a fantastic model railroad layout to delight in! The property owners were available on site and committed to guests having a wonderful experience. We loved this unique experience and look forward to retuning.

Fantastic experience! The caboose is as adorable as in the pics. The owners planned for every need you could have. The kitchen is fully functional and the bathroom is larger than expected. The fabulous little booth / nook up top is so cool. You can climb up and watch the bison roaming nearby. The owners were very helpful too. This is the perfect spot for a peaceful, away-from-it-all respite.

All aboard!

We highly recommend this vacation property. The property is a beautiful farm with bison and other farm animals. We watched bison grazing right from our unit only a few feet awsy! The caboose was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Theres also a model train track and store with bison meat and wonderful souvenirs. We really enjoyed our stay! Cheryl is a great host!

The Mo-Pac Caboose is great for 1-2 nature lovers and/or American history buffs!

This is a very unique place and a fun experience if you're looking for something different from the usual hotels and resorts. Up in the forest, off the beaten path with minimal lighting at night, but still felt quite safe - even took a short midnight walk to fully enjoy the natural night sounds like cicadas, crickets, frogs and owls, but mostly liked seeing all the fireflies (they're rare now where we live, in Wilmington)! The Mo-Pac caboose is neat, well thought-out, and very appealing if you like 1950s and 60s themes, or if you simply want a clean, unfussy, yet private place in a peaceful farm-type setting. Great place overall for animal-loving kids (and adults), and general nature lovers of all ages!

The pictures are an accurate representation of the Mo-PAC caboose. Absolutely lovely location and seeing the bison roaming around was spectacular. I wish I had a few more days to spend as there was a lot to explore on the property. My boyfriend, myself and our mini dachshund had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying there. Everything was clean and in working order.
