Deer Country Cabins # 1 - Vue à longue portée, chiens OK, pas de frais de nettoyage

Ceci est notre plus petite cabine. C'est super pour les couples.

Vues à longue portée, animaux acceptés, pas de frais de nettoyage supplémentaires ni de frais de gestion.

Ray et Nanette Borges vous accueillent dans notre petit coin de paradis, niché dans une crique, dominant quatre chaînes de montagnes. Notre chalet est situé au cœur des montagnes de l'ouest de la Caroline du Nord, à seulement quelques minutes en voiture du parc national de Smoky Mountain, de Blue Ridge Parkway et de Maggie Valley.

À une altitude de 3600 pieds, vous apprécierez les brises de montagne fraîches de votre propre balançoire ou rocker. La paix et la tranquillité vous submergeront année après année. Pourtant, la commodité de toutes les beautés et attractions de la région est à votre guise.

La cabine est décorée avec goût, avec cuisine complète et commodités. Un foyer au gaz et un climatiseur assurent votre confort total. La cabine comprend un réfrigérateur, cuisinière / four, satellite et TV, lecteur DVD, Internet sans fil gratuit, micro-ondes, laveuse et sécheuse ** (accès), draps, barbecue, table de pique-nique et foyer pour feu de camp. Les animaux de compagnie sont les bienvenus, mais des frais sont exigés.

Cute cabin but steep driveway!

We loved our quick weekend to this cute cabin. Was fine for the two of us, and I could see it being ok for 1-2 kids but would be tight for more than 2 adults. The road/driveway is STEEP. Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive and a high abundance of caution in the winter. Great spot though and wonderful views. We really enjoyed our time on the front porch in the mornings.

Great view! Mattress in Quenn bed sinks in the middle. Sunset over the mountain view was spectacular. Little slippery getting up cabin hill due to fallen wet leaves in our front wheel drive CRV. Overall 4.5 rating.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a fantastic time! The cabin is as cute as can be and has that mountain charm. Our 2 kids especially enjoyed the loft area and watching the goats on the property! The owners were very responsive and we can’t wait to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. It was great to be able to bring our fur babies. The cabin was wonderful. The only reason we could not give 5 stars was because of the main bed. It was uncomfortable and small. Had a great time close to everything.

Utah mountain vacation

This is a very nice little cabin for a young couple with or without children, but if you have any physical limitations it's hard to get in and out of this cabin. The toilet is extremely low, like for potty training. The queen mattress in the bedroom needs to be replaced. I could not sleep on it. It is a nice cabin with great views.

Perfect little slice of heaven and get away from Atlanta city life. Location was perfect, owner was responsive and helpful. I would definitely visit this property again. May be back for ski season!

Adorable Cabin with View

Great location if you want to be close to Gatlinburg or the Biltmore without being saturated with tourists. Just my husband and I so we had the single bedroom cabin and our Mountain View was breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Family Getaway

Spent three nights at the cabin to enjoy nearby hiking adventures. Well decorated and comfortable. Cabin was perfect for family of four. Kitchen well stocked with utensils necessary for meal prep. Multiple others cabins on site and occupied during our stay....cannot say we heard the others.

Perfect spot!

This was just what we were looking for. Secluded but still easy access to the Smokies and Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as restaurants and shops in Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We planned to do most of our own cooking and the kitchen had most everything we needed (we were glad we brought our own chopping knife though). Best part was the view! I loved just sitting on the porch watching the birds. Also loved the goats. :) We’ll definitely choose this spot again if we return to the area.

Worst Experience Ever

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a place! I contacted the owner to tell him that the place wasn’t what I had expected and could I get refunded and he said No. He was extremely rude and hung up! The owner was not professional at all!!! The place had a horrible musty odor and the air unit was in the window. The bed looked like it had a huge ball dropped on it and sunk in the middle! Needless to say we didn’t spend one night there! Never rent from these people! The least he could have done is giiven me a partial refund. Waste of hard earned money and rude owner!!

Judith booked the wrong cabin. She called and wanted another cabin to accommodate her party.  There was nothing available. She did not want to take responsibility for her error and proceeded to acuse us of changing pictures of the cabin. We have been in this business since 1999 and have never had a guest write a negative review and lie about our Cabins. Look for yourself and read our reviews. "It's always someone else's fault with some people"

Love this little cabin

Perfect size for a weekend getaway. The furniture was comfortable and it had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and kind. The views are amazing. The only two things that could be improved are internet speed, which the host can do nothing about because it is what it is in the mountains, and we wish the next cabin was a little farther away for more privacy.

comfortable stay close to the mountains

Property was as advertised; a little rustic but with some really nice personal touches, especially with furniture. Loved the couches and chairs inside, and especially the swing bench with that nice view outside. Wifi was too slow to be usable, otherwise this was a very nice getaway, only 20 minutes form the Blue Ridge Parkway and 5 minutes from I-40.

The cabin was super clean and in a great location- close to everything. The view from the porch was beautiful and loved seeing the goats grazing while we were hanging out at the cabin.
