Escape to this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom lakeside home on the serene shores of Thompson Lake. Perfect for families, friends, or a peaceful getaway, the property features a large yard, a sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing, and a fire pit overlooking the water — ideal for classic Maine summer days.

Inside, the home blends modern updates with comfort. Central air keeps you cool, while two screened porches off the bedrooms offer a relaxing spot for morning coffee or evening unwind time. Large windows fill the space with natural light and showcase stunning lake views. A cozy downstairs family room with a TV and games is perfect for movie nights or rainy days.

Enjoy easy access to the lake with a private dock that accommodates boats up to 22 feet, plus three kayaks for paddling and exploring. Thompson Lake’s calm waters are perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. When you’re ready to venture off the property, Oxford is just a short drive away, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Lovely sandy beach and gorgeous sunset views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay in this newly redone home on Thompson Lake. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture and beds and well kitted out. The sandy beach and shallow entry were perfect for our young children who spent hours playing there happily. Gorgeous sunset viewing from the end of the dock. Water is lovely and clear (though the sand leading to and at the end of the dock could have used some raking at the start of the season as it was evident by the murky bottom and weeds that it hadn't been used frequently - once we'd spent some time jumping off the dock and stirring things up it started to clear a bit). There's a right of way on one side of the property and that area got a bit busy on hot days so the location is not quite as private as some, but it didn't prevent us enjoying ourselves and having a wonderful week! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back in future years.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to enjoy beautiful Thompson Lake. We are fairly local and wanted a lakefront vacation spot. This was it!! Private sandy beach, a boat mooring, a great house. The kitchen is a galley kitchen, so not a lot of room there and no dishwasher, but lots of paper plates and cups solved that problem! Quiet lake, nice neighbors, beautiful sunsets! We’ll be back!
