Mimi's Country Cabin is BRAND NEW and sits in the heart of God's Country, Potter County, PA. You will feel right at home in our cozy cabin, where we've kept you in mind while designing and decorating. Enjoy all that nature has to offer while sitting on the front or back patios, surrounded by our peaceful farmland. Bring your poles and find some of the best fishing in the county, steps from the back door. Relax next to the fire inside, or out, and make memories to last a lifetime. We hope you find the amenities and surrounding sites plentiful and come back to visit in the future! (Disclaimer: there are outdoor security cameras on the property that view the front and back patios, as well as the driveway and parking areas.)

If you are looking for a quiet escape with every amenity imaginable and a host who is stellar, this is the place for you. Nestled in the heart of God's country with beautiful woods as a backdrop, home to nature you are sure to catch a glimpse of. Star gazing, quaint restaurants within easy drive.

There was nothing negative to put in this review. Everything was perfect. Cabin is beautifully decorated! We appreciated all of the "extras" like wine, snacks, toiletries, etc. Communication with the hostess was easy as well.

Holiday Haven

Looking to spend holidays with family without being underfoot the whole time and having a restful place to unwind. It couldn't have been more perfect. Nestled in a meadow backed up to woods near family. Peaceful, private and amenities perfection. Host goes above and beyond to make it a home away from home. Woke up early to deer grazing outside with quiet time in front of the fireplace with Christmas lights. We will definitely be back!

Hunting Trip

This place was immaculate and much too nice for 3 guys to stay at just to go hunting. Every and any amenity that you could possibly think of was there! We could’ve walked in there completely empty-handed and been fine. They had everything from butter and eggs and sausage and pancakes to soap and towels and toothbrushes. This place truly was outstanding and I will probably go back there but take my wife instead of hunting buddies.

Mimi’s Country Cabin

My brother, nephew and I stayed Sunday night thru Saturday morning. We were archery deer, bear and turkey hunting nearby State Game Lands and some private property. Hunting was tough (weather was a factor). The dryer at the cabin was valuable. The cabin served as our base camp and was more than adequate. We made our meals, showered, slept and relaxed comfortably.

Exceeded expectations

This home is exactly as listed! It is clean, inviting, comfortable. More amenities than expected like eggs, spices, PA maple syrup, pancake mix, even bug spray. The owner checked in with us several times before, during and after our stay. Our questions were responded to promptly. The quiet, rural location was a rejuvenating break from the 'burbs we live in. Thank you!

Mimi’s Country Cabin was INCREDIBLE! Cathy was an AWESOME host! We could tell from the moment we drove up, saw our names on the lovely welcome board, and walked in, that Cathy and her family put their heart into this property! We immediately texted her to let her know how welcoming and comfortable we felt! She was quick to inform and respond to any little concerns or questions we had. We have rented a LOT of properties; this is by far one of the BEST! It was perfection, from the newness of the cabin to the seasonal autumn decorations, to the custom welcome guidebook awaiting us on the table. Loved the little touches like monogrammed Mimi’s Country Cabin towels and the labeling of cabin functions! Cathy even provided individually wrapped toothbrushes if we needed them! Oh, we could go on and on, wonderful! Our main purpose was to stargaze though, and we indeed got what we wanted and more than we expected from Mimi’s Country Cabin! We never heard of or stayed in God Country until now. Cathy and her family made sure they gave it the best impression and representation possible! Please keep doing what you do Cathy, your caring passion shows, well done! We will return for summer night sky star gazing and more of the FRESH EGGS, pancake mix and snacks you provided! Thank you! It was a pleasure!
