Found a bedbug. The host tried to argue the place had been treated, but one live bedbug that can be seen means there are hundreds more that are hiding. There were blood stains (from bedbugs) on the sheets and one of the mattress covers was ripped open. The host refunded us immediately without further argument and we found a 4-star hotel, even during a big convention, for about the same price. We won't be making this mistake again.

The photos don't do justice to the location, it is dirty and smells bad. My allergies were trigger by all of the dust. When I tried to get out of my reservation, I could not so I had to suffer through the end of my stay. I wish I had read the reviews.

THIS IS A 2.8 STAR MOTEL

Read “the city inn and suites” google reviews before staying here. Multiple multiple accounts of credit card fraud.

Absoutely the worst. The room was dirty and it smelled dusgustint. I called VRBO support, they put me on with the host. His solution eas to come to the room and spray fake lysol. The shower tiles and ceiling had mold, the floor was sticky and the sofa was soiled. We stayed 5 days and did not receive cleaning service dispite requesting it every day. We had tostop the cleanong person to get fresh towels and wash cloths and give her the used ones. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Giants game

They need to get the elevator fixed. We had someone on crutches and it was challenging. They did put us on the first floor.

Area was very bad and did not feel safe. VRBO billed as a suite and the picture shown looked decent. It is not any where close to the picture and completely misrepresenting themselves. It was a roach motel essentially. I booked it because they said they had a 2 bedroom suite available and then they called and said they didn’t have it and I could get their deluxe single room. The room was dirty, the bed was bad, the lighting was not good and the shower tub had bugs and roaches in there. I’m not way was this satisfying and way overcharged when they really played the bait and switch with the 2-bedroom vs single bedroom unit. I would request 50% off of the price which is still too much.

I know it's only a 2 star hotel, but cleanliness should be a priority. There were so many stains in the carpet. Both in the lobby and the hotel room, it smelled like somebody put a lot of effort in to try to clean out the smell of years of cigarette smoking. There was also a very loud noise that would go off for 45 seconds at a time all night long. We ended up checking out after the first night and booking a different hotel. When we complained about the smell and cleanliness, the person at the front desk stated that they went to the room and didn't smell anything or see any issues. They ended up giving us a 40% discount on the night that we canceled.

Disgusting, Deceptive, and Completely Unacceptable

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The photos online are completely misleading — this place is rundown, filthy, and appears to have been mostly neglected for years. The only elevator was broken (and clearly has been for a while), forcing guests to lug luggage up multiple staircases with no offer of help. Zero rooms were ADA accessible. The room reeked of mold and mildew the second we walked in. We immediately brought it up to the front desk, who gave a weak excuse about the sprinklers being flushed and claimed they had windows open to air it out. It still stank the next morning — so badly that you could smell it from outside the room. It was unbearable, and we made the decision to leave early. When we asked for a refund, staff flat-out refused stating we would need to contact VRBO and insisted they “didn’t smell anything” and had no other rooms. Unbelievable.Inside, the room was in a state of disrepair. Mold in the bathroom, exposed wiring, an exhaust fan so loud it could be heard from outside, broken cabinet doors, and zero maintenance. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and the layout made no sense — to use the bathroom from the second bedroom, you have to walk through the first. Basic comfort and safety standards were completely ignored. This hotel is a health hazard and a scam. It should not be operating in its current state. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.
