My friend and I stayed for two nights. The cottage is located in a beautiful area of Marblehead. We also spent time in Salem which was close by. We walked from the cottage to breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic location and perfect for my husband, our almost 2 year old, and me. Pack n play provided. There’s a market nearby which was great. The Muffin Shop, Driftwood, and The Landing were frequented (and all within walking distance). I would not recommend if you are taller than my husband - 5’10 - because the ceilings are quite low.

The home was exactly as described. We enjoyed having restaurants, shopping, grocery and harbor/ocean views just a short walk from us. One addition that would be nice is a small bistro table with chairs on the front deck.

Hidden Gem

The cottage was quaint perfection!! The location is just steps from the ocean and restaurants. Perfect walking distance to the Main Street where the shops are located. The cottage had everything you needed!! The beds and sheets were like sleeping on a cloud. We definitely will be back!

Charming cottage in a great location walking distance from everything you need! Communicative hosts, parking is a total plus and washer/dryer in house. Also, great water pressure in the shower!FYI for taller folks. This home has low ceilings (I am 5’4” and my husband 5’9” and we fit perfectly but would not recommend for anyone taller).

Marblehead is a quaint seaside town that offers many options for both locals and vacationers. Visit any of our local beaches — Gas House Beach, Devereux Beach or Grace Oliver's Beach, walk around Old Town and browse the local shops, or visit one of our many restaurants, such as The Landing, Sea Salt, Maddie's Sail Loft or The Beacon and enjoy some time with family and friends. If you take a quick drive over to Marblehead Neck — "The Neck", as it's commonly known — you can spend the day at the Chandler Hovey Park enjoying the lighthouse and all of the boats sailing in and out of the harbor. Or, head over to Castle Rock and watch the waves crash against the rocks.

You will never get bored touring the lovely sights of Marblehead! And, if you are lucky enough to visit us during the month of July, you are in for a treat! The Festival of the Arts hosts a wonderful array of music, art and celebration (not to mention fireworks) to celebrate the birth of this great nation. It's a series of fun-filled days that you will be sure to enjoy! And, if you are visiting during the month of October, you have to venture over to Salem to take in Haunted Happenings! It's a must if you are in the area at that time of year.
