-Pet fee is strictly for one dog /cat only! If you bring more than one pet, you will be charged an extra $200 on top of the standard $100 fee.
-Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces in April through September. FIREPLACE WILL NOT WORK DURING THESE MONTHS!
-You may encounter wildlife; we do have a neighborhood bear that will come during bear season. Don't leave food in your car, on decks and grills. If you want to go outside and there is a bear outside, make loud noises they will leave. And remember you are surrounded by nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it's not unusual for small animals to be heard around the house or bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won't return.
-The hot tub is emptied and cleaned between stays
-Please get travel insurance in case something unforeseen happens and you can't make the trip or if there is bad weather. Our Chalet is on a mountain top, the driveway has an 15% to 20% grade and has sharp curve and you will need 4-wheel drive to access if there is snow. There will not be any refunds for weather related cancellations. There will also be no refunds if you feel the mountain roads are too steep or too curvy for you to drive.
-Cabin is 4.7 miles from the parkway to Gatlinburg
-2 vehicles will fit in the driveway
-We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags, laundry pods, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dog poop bags (Please pick up after your animals)
-Smoking marijuana is prohibited

Beautiful place with a beautiful view! The game room and hot tub kept my kids constantly entertained while back at the house & great communication with the hosts, any questions I had they responded back almost immediately & were very friendly & helpful!—& my kids learned who Elvis was ! Lol

Rockin' good time

We had a great stay. This place had all the amenities we could have wanted. My son, who is a huge rock fan, was blown away and loved the pinball machine. We would definitely return.

It’s very peaceful and quiet, with a cool view right out the front. The games will keep you busy and were fun. It was a short drive to the Gatlinburg welcome center or ski mountain road and southern Gatlinburg restaurants. The roads are paved and in good shape but be prepared for some winding.

Peaceful

Nice house with a great view of the mountains. It was well equipped to meet all of our needs. We were very comfortable and the amenities made it a pleasant stay. Cleaning had to be done before we could settle in because our poodle immediately found pieces of opened candy on the floor in the livingroom.We enjoyed the gameroom and got to experience things we never have before. Overall experience was great and I recommend this house for any age group.

House of Rock

Property was well maintained with some upgrades, the interior was fantastic! Everything flowed together perfectly. Clean and bright. The owners have gone above and beyond with amenities, I think everything was thought of even down to chapstick! Communication is great, when I had a question the reply was almost immediate. One thing that is noted I believe is the view is seasonal, summertime with leaves is a limited view. The one and only downfall is the bed in the downstairs bedroom is about to fall in on itself. If you have kids/teens the game room is your savior, it is amazing! Everything worked except one arcade game and that was no big deal,for us, as there are two others and a pinball machine. Great Stay!

The House of Rock was amazing! Very clean, well appointed, and the game room did not disappoint! The house is situated among the trees on the side of the mountain. It offers the best of both worlds - a mountain view and shade to enjoy watching the wildlife (including the neighborhood bear!). This is a very up-to-date cabin with plenty to keep you entertained after a busy day in town. Many special touches to make you feel welcome. The drive up is steep, but there is a large, flat area for parking. Highly recommend!
