Gatsby’s Getaway-Unique stay near downtown

Welcome to our hidden gem, a unique getaway offering an unforgettable experience of vintage charm combined with modern comforts. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the St. Croix River, take a walk downtown Taylors Falls to enjoy shops and restaurants, or walk over to Interstate State Park to admire the beautiful views while hiking the trails or take a boat tour.

Take a short drive to get to Franconia Sculpture Park (5 min), Wild Mountain (5 min), Trollhaugen (10 min), as well as a variety of shops, wineries, restaurants, and more activities nearby.


LIVING ROOM// The living room has two comfortable sofas and a small desk for any work that needs to be done while on vacation. Feel free to log in to your favorite streaming services on the 55" Smart-TV! Cable/Streaming is not provided.

KITCHEN// We have pots & pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, air fryer, crock pot, blender, hand mixer, drip coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, electric kettle, and anything else you might need to cook or bake while you're here. There is plenty of seating in the kitchen to be together while cooking your favorite meal, including island seating and a breakfast nook.

DINING ROOM// Enjoy your favorite meal at the dining table, curl up with a book in one of our comfy chairs in front of the window, or play one of the many board games we have available. The dining room is a cozy place to plan your day or just relax and enjoy each other's company.

SPEAKEASY THEMED BASEMENT// Step into another era and immerse yourself in the allure of the 1920's with our speakeasy themed basement! The basement includes a bar, plenty of seating and photo moments, phonograph replica to enjoy either records or as a bluetooth speaker, and game table. No speakeasy would be complete without a hidden door! Behind the hidden door is a cozy theater room including a 75" Smart TV, electric fireplace, large sofa, and pub table to enjoy games or drinks while watching a movie.

BATHROOMS// One bathtub/shower in the main bathroom, one shower in the basement bathroom, plus a half bath in the primary bedroom. You will have access to a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

BEDROOMS// This house boasts three cozy bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a plush king-size bed with a half bath, while the second and third bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds. All bedrooms are comfortably outfitted with tall floor fans, luggage racks, and USB ports for your devices.

OUTDOORS// Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink on the spacious, private deck or play some yard games in the large, fenced in yard. A grill is available in the spring, summer and fall on the deck as well as a space to eat outside at our patio table. End the night cozying up in the firepit area. Please bring your own firewood.

UTILITY ROOM// Washer & dryer are available if needed, as well as an iron and ironing board.
