Boondock Retreat, pet friendly home with EV charger

Boondock Retreat is a restored farmhouse on the west side of Seneca Lake. Located just a stones throw from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and about 15 minutes from Watkins Glen, this cozy home has great proximity to the Seneca Lake wineries and towns. **Note: this home is quite close to the lake, but does not have access to the lake.

Boondock Retreat has been recently completely renovated and remodeled in 2023. The furnishings are newer with that cozy farmhouse feel and this house will feel like home to you....a place to kick back, slow down, and relax. The convenient EV charger is a great way to recharge your electric vehicle during your stay at Boondock!


Walking in from the main entry, you'll come into the large open Living room and Dining room area. The Living Room has a big sectional sofa, smart tv, and a great little nook with games, puzzles, and a table to sit at to do both of these activities! The dining area has big glass sliding doors that go out on to the back deck and you can peep the lake through the tree line beyond.



The kitchen has stainless appliances, an eat-in Kitchen island area, as well as a coffee bar cabinet. The large windows in front of the sink face toward the lake, making dishes a pleasure rather than a chore!


Just off of the kitchen are the stairs to the second floor along with the laundry and half bath. The Primary bedroom is on the main floor and tucked behind the Kitchen. This bedroom is large with a King size bed and attached bathroom suite with a tiled shower.


Upstairs there is a landing space with a small couch and smart tv. All 3 second floor bedrooms have a Queen size bed. Additionally you'll find a large bathroom on the second floor with a tub/shower.

The house has a large deck on the back, facing towards the views of the lake. There is a grill just off of the deck for cooking up a steak, an outdoor dining table, and lounge furniture for enjoying a glass of wine. The yard is large, with room for kids or the dog to run, with a fence running around most of the perimeter. There is a patio in the yard with a firepit and chairs for you to roast your s'mores during the long summer evenings.

We do allow for one pet dog at this home....one well mannered, house trained dog under 50#. We are not able to allow for other pets such as cats, birds, etc and only one dog per guest stay (no exceptions).

*Air conditioning is provided via wall units on the main floor and in the bedrooms
*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.

**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No parties allowed at any time.

**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times. No Exceptions. Only 8 guests allowed at any time.
**Parking for 4 vehicles.
**We do allow one dog during a guest stay, must be less than 50# and well trained. Dog cannot be left unattended at any time.
