The property was amazing and exactly what we needed for our stay. The property was very clean and extremely comfortable. The couch was amazingly inviting (so comfortable) and the beds provided an great nights sleep. We were close to OKC and surrounded by plenty of entertainment. Definitely work looking into if you are going to be in the area. Great price and wonderful amenities!!

The property was not described as it was found upon coming by the property prior to check in time to make sure we in the right location. It was described as a home but it was actually a quadplex. He would not provide any information until 1 hour prior to check in time. We were told by VRBO that the owner would send check in information 3 days prior not 1 hour prior. When I told the owner that my family and I did not feel like we would be safe in the area, he then replied with information telling me many others have stayed and been fine. The area around the property”home” was very run down, many other properties had missing windows or broken cars in front of them as well as trash all around the area. I now know why there were no photos of the outside of the property. When contacted to tell him I would not be checking in and to ask for a refund he responded with no because of his refund policy and to contact VRBO. I did contact VRBO and was told to deal with the owner who would not work with me.

The guest never checked into or stayed at the property. Their decision not to stay was based solely on viewing an outdated Google Street View image taken before the property was renovated. The listing accurately describes the accommodation and includes photos, amenities, and relevant details. When the guest expressed concerns about the neighborhood before check-in, we explained that many guests have stayed at the property without incident. We also advised that if they canceled the reservation and the dates were rebooked, we would consider a refund for any rebooked nights. However, the guest declined to cancel, leaving the reservation active and preventing the dates from being reopened for other travelers. Rather than following the platform’s cancellation process, the guest filed a chargeback with their financial institution. Because the guest never checked in or experienced the property firsthand, we believe the review is based on assumptions rather than an actual stay. We remain committed to providing an accurately represented, clean, and comfortable accommodation for our guests.

It was a beautiful property on the inside. Comfortable with everything we needed. The hot tub was super nice and relaxing. My only worry was the backyard. I understand there has been a ton of rain, but I would have been worried about my dogs getting out. They are tiny. The neighbor's dog stayed in just fine. I was also amazed that for the most part, you couldnt hear them barking. Property was also super convenient to the softball fields we wete playing on and Devon Park.

My Stay

The booking process was easy however 15 days prior to the day that we needed an extra night, we requested it. The owner admitted to VRBO that he never confirmed nor denied the request but on my end it showed the date marked out with the new date provided. We believed that showed it was confirmed. We got interrupted in the middle of our trip saying we needed to leave right away because the cleaners were there and we were supposed to have checked out. It was a huge inconvenience and mess. We opted to locate to another property. From there VRBO kept messaging me about items left at the property that no one could tell me what they were referring to and the guests didn't have any items they believed to be missing. I asked VRBO to call me directly on a specific date and they didn't. Then when they would try to call I couldn't take their call due to work. I asked specifically too for a list of what was at the property. No one provided that. All of this could have been prevented by the host properly communicating regarding our request for the extra night.

My daughter and I were in town for a softball tournament and needed a safe place to stay. I had looked the property up on Zillow and found that it had been newly updated and purchased by this owner. The updates inside, were accurate. However, when we arrived, the lawn was overgrown and the noise from parties at night was ridiculous. There was hair all over the floor and I’m being charged to replace the washing machine that didn't work. I did not receive check-out instructions, in reference to doing the dishes, taking out the trash, starting a load of towels, etc. I knew from previous experiences that these were usually required. After cleaning everything up, I went to start the washing machine. It immediately lit up "balance load". I figured the owner knew that it was broken, so I just left it alone. The next day, I receive a text from the owner, stating that the washing machine was "working great" before I checked in, and found out that he is charging me to replace it, when I didn't even use the thing. Hopefully this review will make others think twice about this host. I feel completely taken advantage of and frustrated.

Inside the home was great! Outside was not! The neighborhood was not safe at all! Our first night there was yelling and screaming outside. Eventually the cops showed up! Even after the cops had left they still remained fighting. Inside of the property was amazing but the neighborhood was not safe. I do not recommend this property for its location at all!
