True bliss awaits you at this peaceful and centrally-located cozy cottage.

Walking distance to public beach, pier and shops, as well as a lazy river where you can rent kayaks to paddle your way down stream to Tawas Bay in Lake Huron and back. Lots of outdoor space for relaxing by the fire pit or eating on the raised back patio. Quiet neighborhood is perfect for walks, bike rides and just enjoying the sounds of nature. Relax or play, this cottage is perfect for your mood.
The space
Three bikes and three inflatable kayaks are available and stored on the enclosed front porch for your use. Please use at own discretion.

FREE popcorn with 16 different seasonings to try.

Keurig Coffee pot with FREE coffee, creamer, sugar and tea!

Marshmallow skewers provided to make smores while burning a fire in the fire pit.

Just what we needed, a quiet weekend get away. Melissa has thought of everything to make you feel cozy and comfortable. My favorite was painting an autumn picture while my husband took an afternoon nap.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic. I’m in the music industry an travel a LOT. I can honestly say I have never had a host as attentive, easy to work with, and so good at communication as they were here. The cottage itself is modern, comfortable, and had many items that we typically have to purchase on the road. It’s 5 minutes from the incredible downtown area (hallmark movie material), and we were never in the vehicle more than 6 minutes no matter where we needed to go. I rate our stay 15 out of 10 stars and we will be returning.

Cute and Cozy cottage

Clean and nice rental to stay at with our dogs. Couch and love seat needs replacing ( impossible to sit on ) but quiet neighborhood and enjoyed our short stay. Host was great !

Cute place perfect location

We needed a place for an overnight only stay. It was a great option to find this super cute house that didn’t require a 2-day minimum stay. It’s very close to downtown yet very quiet. We didn’t have an opportunity to use anything the host provided but it is nicely presented. Would recommend this cute place for 1-2 people.

Cabin was clean. Host stocks coffee, popcorn, smore’s bar. And has outdoor activities as well. Perfect little cabin for a weekend getaway. Bonus that this cabin is pet friendly. Host is very communicative and sent us lots of recommendations. Couples be aware the queen bed and king pull out sofa seem smaller than advertised. The bed was comfortable though and would not deter us from coming back another time. Definitely on our saved list.

AMAZING!

This was one of the best trips an place to stay. Melissa stays on top of everything an will message you an get back to you during your whole stay and is very accommodating! The house is very nice an perfect. All the appliances you need are there, an not to mention the cozy fireplace. There are even extra amenities like games an painting. The town is very cute an Perchville festival was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Great location! Cute little place in a quiet neighborhood. Close to water and downtown. Near restaurants and shopping. Had a small issue, but owner was very responsive and willing to help. Lots of coffee and creamer supplied (no tea). A little bummed that we didn't find any firewood, the smores packs were all gone, and the popcorn seasonings were all hardened and unusable, but overall a good stay. We would probably stay again

Absolutely beautiful

When we picked this it was because we thought the alien were cool. When we got there, it was so beautiful. They have everything you could possibly want or need. It's only a few minutes walk to almost every place we went. I have to say that in all the year's I have used abb, they I by far the best!!!

My name is Melissa and I live in Taylor, Michigan. I work for the public school system and I am a school psychologist. I went to school at Wayne State University and love what I do for a living. I love to ride bikes and swim. I love Florida and I LOVE my two dogs; Edison and Sterling! They are both Aussidoodles and they are adorable! I am a mother of two adults and four grand children. My youngest grandchild is a teenager (gulp)!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I love Lake Huron and all the small cities situated along it. I have visited here and just new I would one day want a cottage up here where I could enjoy that beautiful lake! The neighborhood as wonderful restaurants such as the Pizza company near by, great shopping such as an antique store on the corner of First St. and us 23 and a local farmer's market. There are free concerts every Tuesday night in the summer in East Tawas and there are nearby lighthouses to tour. In the fall there is the color tour to look at all the beautiful trees and their stunning colors. In the winter there is hunting and fishing, skiing and snow mobile trails. The cottage comes with bikes to ride the coastline or go to town for dinner. The cottage also comes with inflatable Kayaks to test the waters of Lake Huron or other nearby lakes such as Lake Cedar in Greenbush. There is also the AuSable River nearby and you can rent a proper Kayak and go on a river tour! So much to do and you do not have to venture very far to experience it!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I have provided so many amenities including a Keurig coffee pot with many flavors, sugar, sweet and low, equal and International creamer flavors. I have provided tea and an electric kettle. Many new small appliances such as an air fryer, an ice machine, a blender, a toaster, a can opener, an emersion blender, and margarita glasses if that is your vibe. I have provided an air microwave popcorn popper with sixteen different flavors of seasoning to try along with the butter to add after popping (never put the oil in the oil in the popper it is a fire hazard to do so). I have provided s'more packages with and without nuts to roast on the fire pit. I even provided the skewers to roast the marshmallows. I have provided canvases and painting supplies in case the area inspires you to paint a picture (please clean up after yourself). There is a tarp provided to help with the mess. There was a new microwave purchased to accommodate the microwave popcorn bar, There is a new shed that will hold the 3 bikes and Kayaks provided and there are even umbrellas provided hanging up in the utility room in case it rains. There is a washing machine and dryer provided in the house for you to use, there are four brand new luxurious beach towels, six new towel and linen sets for the bathroom and six new sand towels provided for the beach! I have tried to think of everything that will make your stay the best possible AND I welcome any feedback to help me improve!
