Welcome to Bergen Lake Barndo, your Up North lake getaway!

Our barndominum is located on a private lake 30 minutes north of Duluth. The apartment includes a king and queen bedroom, full and half bath, full-size kitchen, outdoor fire pit, private dock, multiple outdoor lounge areas, grill, Wi-Fi, Smart TV and more. Watch the sunrise over the lake with a fresh espresso, relax in the hammock by the lake, and indulge in smores with a campfire under the stars! Plenty of indoor and outdoor games, paddle boards, and fishing supplies for your use, immerse yourself fully in the Bergen Lake experience!

Enjoy access to thousands of acres of public land ideal for hiking, biking, and exploring, along with hundreds of miles of ATV and snowmobile trails right out the back door. It was our first time getting a VRBO and everything about this getaway was nothing but perfect. The views of the lake, all the accommodations inside and outside were great! The personal touches throughout the property were so thoughtful and heartwarming. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

I was very comfortable staying here by myself. While it was extremely private, it was not secluded. I loved the minimalist, contemporary decor. A very clean, Nice place to stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Enjoyed Stay!

My family enjoyed our stay at Barndominium. The accommodations were cute, fresh and clean. The surrounding lake was very peaceful. Best was the assortment of activities and games to play while there!

Awesome little place

This place was great - the semi private lake was very quiet, we found forest roads nearby to explore in a jeep, and the host had a cute little rowboat that our kids loved! Thanks!

It was a great stay! I would only say one thing about the water, it had a weird smell. I’m not sure if it was the water or pipes. Overall great stay!

Quick trip for a Duluth graduation

Very well maintained and clean. Excellent communication with the owner for a couple of questions. The upstairs patio is really nice overlooking part of the lake.

Gorgeous, secluded, and comfortable place to stay! We had a wonderful experience here, beyond what we expected. The polaroid camera idea was so cute!!

Fun stay minus missing a full day of rain! Clean place, paddle boards and bonfire! Limited things to do with a toddler with the kids weather but overall nice place and very responsive host!

Quick get away

Our stay was great, the property was perfect Waking up to the sounds of the lake. A early morning paddle board session on the lake, was wonderful. The peace and quiet of the area when returning from local outings, everything we wanted.

Beautiful setting

We loved the yard/lake area and the variety of yard games. Close to Duluth, but we also enjoyed our time at the house. Host also offered a variety of indoor games, so we had lots to do. Kids caught a few fish off the dock. Overall we had a great stay!

Heaven on Earth

This property was amazing - Everything it stated and more! You can't even put into words, the beauty and the peacefulness. I couldn't get my teenage boys to leave and go to a state park because they loved it there so much! Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Barndominium

Extremely clean, unique, lakefront property. We needed a stay in between Missouri up to Canada so it was the perfect one night rest for us. Stayed away from the business of Duluth. Great host and great commincation.

The Barndominium is a beautiful little place right on a lake. The fire pit made awesome s'mores and the modern furnishings were very comfortable. We both got a great night's sleep. 10/10. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the north shore area.
