Relax on one of the terraces and soak up some sun with a long cool drink and sparkling views of the sea and the occasional pleasure yacht lazily passing by.
With a 10 minute walk you will find the small fishing port of La Caleta de Velez and the private yacht marina where there are more restaurants and bars and shops. 2 minutes further on you will find another sandy beach and chiringuitos on the sand where you can eat fresh fish or octopus or prawns or sardines cooked over the fire pit.
The Central street has a bank, pharmacy, tobacconist, hairdressers, cute old church and many little shops and bars for you to explore.
5 minutes away by car is the centre of the tourist town of Torre del Mar. Or you can walk to the end of Torre del Mar beach in 2 minutes and to the town centre along the beautiful promenade in 15 minutes. There you will find many restaurants, banks, shops and services of all types, a water park, a retail park with cinema, amusements, hypermarket, Zara, Mango etc.
