You won’t beat this place if you want to relax and enjoy great weather. It was our second visit and won’t be our last.

Lovely villa

This is a very nice, well equipped villa with a lovely pool and gardens. It's worth the winding drive up the mountain as the views are stunning. A great place to stay.

Tranquility and wonderful views

We had a very enjoyable stay at this rural villa, everything was as described. The veranda was especially useful when the sun got a little intense at lunchtime. Lovely breezes kept our stay very comfortable and the pool was excellent.

Like being at home but with guaranteed sunshine !

This is the 6th time we have stayed at Casa Joya and we just love it ! The property is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The neighbours are great and the surrounding countryside is stunning. Even being in the hills you are only 15 minutes to the beach - really recommend !

A place to relax

Cassie Joya was a secluded restful stay, well equipped which lived up to its name. The directions to the property were excellent helped by the useful signs at every turn. Outside seating was very comfortable assisted by the blinds on the veranda to block out the intensity of the afternoon sun. Would recommend a stay.

Relaxing holiday

Beautiful well equipped villa with fantastic views set in a peaceful location. The pool is a good size, very clean and well managed. Plenty of hot water for the showers, well equipped kitchen with lots of utensils, WiFi and freeview tv worked great. Car is required for the villa with plenty of parking space. A very enjoyable holiday.

We have hired villas many times on Costa del Sol but Casa Joya was definitely the best. The villa itself had everything we could have wanted and was in beautiful condition. The pool was excellent and a good size for a swim. The additional advantage is the location. About 45 mins from Malaga airport and only around 15 mins to the sea. What could be better? Peace and tranquility around the pool with great views and easy to go to the sea if you feel the need. Reaching the villa was quite straight forward and the drive was similar to other rural villas we have visited. In the hills you should expect narrow windy roads and we had no problems even at night. Uta, the owner was easy to contact which made us feel even more relaxed. I would very highly recommend this villa.

Great Place

Excellent House, just as described and just as beautiful as the pictures. No complaints at all. Very nice large and clean pool, godd outside areas. The road up to the house is a bit narrow, but you get used to it.

A wonderful place to get away from the stresses of life.

My family had a wonderful 10 day stay. We have stayed in the Nerja / Frigiliana / Torrox area around 12 times and this was up there with the best of them. It was lovely and relaxing yet close enough to drive to the local amenities, in Torrox. The final approach to the villa is a little interested if you are not good with heights or a nervous driver, but you soon get used to it.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful villa

The villa was very well presented, clean and tidy, and well equipped. Due to flight availability, we arrived very late but gaining entry to the property was no problem. A well equipped kitchen with all the usual appliances, a good selection of TV channels for the quiet evenings, nice sized pool and a spectacular view.

Lovely villa to chill out and relax.

Villa was just right for us. Views were amazing and loved the location. Road to villa would be a challenge to unconfident driver. But we found the drive fine. Villa had everything you needed for your stay, very well equipped. If you want peace and quiet, with great outdoor space and pool. Loved the villa and will be back again.

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a great holiday at Casa Joya. It was a bit of a steep climb in the car getting there but it was worth it as it was so tranquil and relaxing. The villa itself had everything we wanted and if we had any questions or queries, the property managers replied in minutes and were so helpful. Myself, my husband and my two kids had a magical holiday, playing pool volleyball and also card games on the roof terrace until the sun set. Perfect. If only we could’ve brought the sunshine back to U.K. 😃

Perfect villa for a relaxing holiday

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at Casa Joya and can thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The villa was spacious and modern with good air conditioning and wifi and also a variety of outside eating areas and a lovely terrace. We would start the day with breakfast by the pool overlooking spectacular mountain views and then go for a 40 minute walk around the mountain. Tony and Joy were lovely hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them and hear all about their travels. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Joyful stay at Casa Joya

Stayed here for almost two weeks and it was fantastic especially if you are looking to get away from the crowds high up in the hills. The villa was clean, spacious and very comfortable with everything you need once you've done your shopping. Plus the views of the surrounding hills and mountains are amazing and you can take them in while cooling off in the swimming pool. Torrox Costa is about 10 min but car to go for shopping or try out the seaside restaurants, the roads up and down are interesting at times. I'd also highly recommend visiting Frigiliana. Overall loved the villa and would love to go back.

Amazing place!

Well, we returned home relaxed and rested after a lovely holiday at Casa Joya. To sit on the terrace with a glass of wine looking at the beautiful views then watching the sunset was amazing. We did some lovely country walks and saw eagles overhead. The beach, promenade and lots of restaurants were only a few mins drive away so we had peace and quiet at home then life when we wanted it. The villa was clean and spacious and very well equipped. We will definitely be back!

Lovely location and stay

Visited Casa Joya from 7th May - 17th May. Had a lovely holiday, location is beautiful and views are incredible. Lucky enough to meet the owners and both were very personable and welcoming. Joy arranged a travel cot and high chair for our young baby with no problem. Also were lucky enough to visit the other property just down the lane which is offered by Tony and Joy which is also lovely. You would need transport to stay here and this location is ideal if you wanted to visit popular surrounding locations such as Frigiliana which is beautiful and also TorroxTorrox and Nerja. Cannot recommend this villa enough and we would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location

We’ve just had an eleven night stay at Casa Joya in the mountains. The views and the pool are worth going back for. A relaxing stay in a quiet location with all your needs catered for with amenities a short drive away. The drive through the village and up the mountains is ‘interesting’ but we’ve stayed in Frigliana mountains so we knew what to expect. All completely doable but might test a new/nervous driver. Nerja and Frigliana are both a short drive away and many beaches/coves around to explore. A relaxed and chilled holiday enjoyed by us both.

Beautiful Rural Setting

A beautiful rural property. Casa Joya is a joy to stay in. Communication and support was great. The villa is comfortable and spacious. It is really well equipped. The outdoor pool area is perfect for a lovely relaxing holiday. The only downside is the getting in and out of the property. If you are a nervous driver, this is not the property for you. If you want a relaxing stay with beautiful views, then this is it. Excellent directions to find the property.

Peace and Quiet in Beautiful Surroudings

Casa Joya is a lovely place to truly relax and recharge your batteries. Only 5 minutes from the quaint village of Torrox Pueblo and you are in a haven of tranquility. I stayed here with my elderly mum who although not wheelchair bound has severe walking disabilities. Casa Joya provided all and more of the best facilities I have come across in Spain. 10 minutes from the coast and 20 minutes from the lively resort of Nerja, if you want a lovely relaxing holiday with breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains, then why look anywhere else.
