Relaxing farm

Amazing property with a rustic farmhouse style. Very comfortable for me and my wife and our 2 kids on the futon. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast with some turkey sausage was so delicious. All the animals were great to visit with and Kellie was amazing and very responsive to all our needs. We would definitely go back

I never received the Welcome email and had to reach out to inquire how to access the rental. Apartment is cute with nice touches. Arrived 40 minutes early prior to 2 PM (listing) and was told check in was not until 3 PM and apartment was not ready. List of rules on the fridge were fine, but should have been in the listing. The WiFi was limited (password is case sensitive lowercase and was typed out all uppercase); the extender did not allow us to use our smart phones and for my remote work I had to go to the college several times and a local laundry mat to do laundry (did a load in the washer and was told after reaching out the dryer was out of commission at 9:45 PM). The thermostat was locked and set by owner. The camera at the apartment door was also odd considering the owner lives on the property; felt very invasive and if you don’t make conversation with the owner it’s taken personally. Not being able to deadbolt the doors from inside the apartment was not ideal either and a keyless entry would have been preferred with coming and going of more than one person.I reach out with my additional concerns after departing and was told I was being charged a deep clean fee; my young teenage daughter bled very hard our last night and I guess left a small spot that went through the blue sheets and the cream sheet over the futon that the owner stated she had to throw it away and my daughter missed a spot on the bathroom floor when cleaning up while I was packing the car

That one person!! We all get them.. 1..Messaged me for check in instruction because she didn't get any. (You get check in instruction at time of check in 2pm) 2.. showed up at 1:24 and started carrying things in. ( I was mopping the floor cuz I dont have to be done til 2 !!! Which it was done at 2 And I did tell her it would be but she left.. 3... why didn't she ask to check in early while she was bugging me about how to check it. (Because she's that 1 person) Why when you check in at 630(she left at 125 and didn't come back til 630) do you need to do laundry? You just got here and wait til at 945? 4.. when she came back at 630 I walked 20 ft behind her going to the house and she couldn't even turn around and say hello or anything why cuz she is that 1 person.. 5... why when you have 2 teenage kids and yourself do you get a 1 bedroom airbnb ?? Cheap 6.. I have a life and am not home all the time. That's why I have cameras and to see if people check in early.. hahaha 7.. 3 different spots of blood smeared on the floor I dont think she tryed to clean it up. 8. You did your laundry.. why wouldn't you immediately wash the bloody sheets and let me know what happened???? 9...Cameras make you feel uncomfortable and you didn't feel safe with not dead bolt? Sounds like you might have a problem. 10.. Wall thermometer is for heat. Ac remote was on mantel next to tv. If you had been nicer you would of asked. I do live right here on the property 😆 1st negative review
