COVID 19: All our 2 apartments and spaces are strictly disinfected as all inside spaces of eventual viruses.
You will enjoy large spaces both on the terrace with everything you need for a relaxing stay and in the 2000sqm garden where you can collect and taste the fruits of the organic garden. All items needed are on the spot if needed. (Campania is a region and most of all Penisula Sorrentina and Massa Lubrense area were “Charming House” is located which has stayed very much untouched by the Covid problem).

Merveilleuse maison de campagne en pierre du 17th siĂšcle, situĂ©e Ă  Sant’Agata sur les deux golfes, 400 m au-dessus de la mer, une petite ville tranquille Ă  10 min. de voiture de Sorrento. La maison de charme a rĂ©cemment Ă©tĂ© soigneusement restaurĂ©e, en gardant les atouts originaux. L'appartement de vacances est dans une villa magnifique, historique, de propriĂ©tĂ© privĂ©e, situĂ©e seulement Ă  7 min. Ă  pieds du centre du village. Ils ont leur propre terrasse / solarium, avec fleurs, oĂč vous pouvez rester et dĂ©guster le vin local, par exemple. Autour de la maison, il y a un jardin avec des oliviers, vignes, arbres fruitiers et parking privĂ©. Un peu en dehors des chemins battus, pourtant proche de tout, vous pourrez vous rendre compte de ce que c’est que la vie dans la campagne italienne. Avant une semaine de sĂ©jour vous saluerez les personnes que vous reconnaissez en ville. La position panoramique avec vue sur mer en fait un endroit idĂ©al pour ceux qui aiment la nature et de merveilleuses promenades sur la presqu’üle aux endroits de Crapolla, baia di Ieranto, cala di Mitigliano, Punta Campanella, Marina del Cantone and Recommone.

Vous pouvez Ă©galement faire des excusions journaliĂšres Ă  Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompei, Capri and Ischia.

Fab 2 weeks at Charming House

We stayed at Charming House for two weeks in July/August and had a fantastic stay. Charming house is beautiful with gorgeous views from the terrace and Isabella is the perfect host and provided us with all the information we needed and much more! We enjoyed some beautiful tomatoes from her garden also :). The local buses are great to get everywhere you need to go as we did not have a car but you don't need one. Charming House is a really peaceful place to stay.

A lovely house in a good central location for visiting all of the must see places on the peninsula.

My wife and I spent a fantastic week here and visited many of the pretty resorts such as Sorrento, Pistano, Amalfi and the Island of Capri. We also visited Pompeii and Vesuvius. Sant Agata is a nice area with some great shops and restaurants. Isabella made us very welcome and helped with transfers to and from the airport and with booking excursions. Relaxing in the sun on the private terrace outside of the apartment was lovely. Highly recommended. We would definitely go back again.

Beautiful views, great location and very relaxing

We had a lovely week at charming house. Isabella collected us from the bus and was very welcoming and helpful with information about the local area. It was easy to get around using the bus although I imagine it would be very busy during the summer months. The apartment had everything needed for a relaxing stay, especially the large terrace for breakfast and evening drinks. It was a short walk up steps to the village and we enjoyed using all the local shops for groceries, pastries, bread and fresh vegetables. All the locals were very friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside Orlando's bar meeting the neighbourhood dogs and sipping Aperol spritz after country walks. Highlights were the walk to Crapolla (1400 steps!), Pompeii, a boat trip to Capri (arranged by Isabella), local walking tracks and local buses along the Amalfi coast. On Capri, it is possible to walk to Capri town from the port, look out for the signs directing you to the safe pedestrian route. We really enjoyed a walk to Villa Jovis, with beautiful views along the coast. Our only very slight issue was being a bit chilly in the evenings - it would be nice to have heating included in the price during the cooler months of the year. Thanks to Isabella for a fabulous holiday.

Charming house is a really charming place

Buon giorno tutti ! Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour Ă  Sant'agata. Charming house est vraiment bien situĂ©e pour naviguer entre Naples et la cĂŽte amalfitaine. Elle est confortable et bien Ă©quipĂ©e, et sa terrasse est spacieuse et offre une vue splendide sur le golfe de Salernes. Sant'agata est un village agrĂ©able, nous avons particuliĂšrement apprĂ©ciĂ© aller au "bar Orlando", pour sa terrasse, ses cocktails, ses pizzas et ses glaces, ses hĂŽtes. La maison est Ă  10 min Ă  pied du centre ville et des commerces et restaurants. Nous avons passĂ© 3 semaines Ă  charming house et avons pris les transports en commun pour nous dĂ©placer (car pour plage) et le train (de sorrente pour PompĂ©i, herculanum et Naples. Nous conseillons Ravello et les deux merveilleuses villa Rufolo et villa Cimbrone, Ă  visiter. Pour la plage, la plus facile d'accĂšs pour ne pas avoir Ă  trop crapahuter (Bahia di leranto) est celle de marina della lobra Ă  massa lubrense. Les transats sont moins chers que ceux de marina del cantone, plus Ă©loignĂ©e et oĂč il y a trop de monde Ă  notre goĂ»t. Notre hĂŽtesse Isabella est trĂšs accueillante et chaleureuse. Elle est discrĂšte et disponible et nous la remercions pour ce trĂšs bon....!!! et beau sĂ©jour chez elle. Un abbraccio della Francia per la famiglia e Ciccia ! StĂ©phanie et Olivier.

TrÚs bonne appréciation générale concernant la propriété . Excellent accueil d'Isabella qui nous a donné de précieux conseils pour visiter la région sans perdre de temps. Etat de propreté irréprochable de l'appartement,magnifique vue sur la mer, calme de jour comme de nuit ,vacances réussies. J'ajoute qu'au point de vue de l'architecture, la maison ancienne a beaucoup de caractÚre. Merveilleux séjour.

Quel merveilleux endroit. Isabella nous a accueilli comme des amis dans sa maison, nous a conseillé sur les endroits à visiter : Capri, Pompei, Herculanum, Paestum la cÎte Amalfitaine et ses villages. Notre expédition à Naples en bus et en bateau depuis Sorrento. TrÚs bonne adresse pour découvrir ce coin de l'Italie loin du tumulte de la cÎte.

My husband and I had an incredible stay in Sant’ Agata thanks to Isabella 😊. So helpful and informative. The apartment was perfect for us, plenty of space. The view from the terrace was spectacular. Short walk to all cafĂ©s, shops, restaurants, supermarket, etc

Amazing Amalfi!

Everything was amazing! Isabella made us feel like we were more than paying guests! She made arrangements for tours and dinner reservations...all of which were wonderful! Her advice was priceless. Beach Cantone, Bar Orlando, Cardillo's and Blue Moon became favorite spots to visit. We wish we had booked Charming House longer!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our time at ‘Charming House’. We liked that we were out of the hustle and bustle of the larger towns and Isabella provided local knowledge about the best ways to see and do the attractions around this area. We would recommend to family and friends and stay there again ourselves. Lovely views from the balcony, a good place to relax at, but don’t forget your walking shoes.

Great!

It was a real pleasure to stay a week in this very nice holiday appartment! We missed nothing and Isabella was a perfect host! We got a lot of insight information from her for local tours and enjoyed our stay very much. The response was immediately and very detailed. The narrow road down to the house is tricky, a very small car is needed. To sum up it was a pleasant holiday all around. Heerlijke plek met prachtig uitzicht

Heerlijke plek en prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek Amalfi kust, Napels en Pompeji. Vanaf Sorrento met de boot naar Napels en trein naar Pompeji. Santa Agatha is een verademing vergeleken met de veel meer toeristische omgeving. Isabella is zeer gastvrij en zorgzaam. Leuke tips gekregen wat er inde omgeving te doen is.

It is Charming in every way

My husband and I have just returned from a 12 night stay at Charming House. From the moment we arrived in Sant Agata we knew we had made the right choice. To start with Isabella is a wonderful Host, she gave us alot of information on the area, tips of where to go and see and eat, along with booking us tours to Amalfi/Positano and Capri. Both tours were wonderful, and great value for money. Isabella was always on hand to help but at the same time gave us the utmost privacy. She was the perfect host. The apartment was very clean, spacious with a large shower room. The facilities ie washing machine, hair dryer and oven were excellent. The temperature of the apartment stays cool without the dreaded airconditioning, due to the fact it has such thick walls and the sun isnt shining on it from late afternoon, a welcome relief from those scorching days. Sant Agata is a great town, very Italian with wonderful restaurants. The bus is 1.30 Euro to Sorrento, be careful the taxi is 50 Euros, the walk to Sorrento from Sant Agata is all downhill and very scenic, it is only 3km compared to 8 km on the bus. We did that twice.The walk up to the village is steep, steps and road, the supermarket is at the top, however we got our time down from 10mins to 7mins and that is with my husband needing two new hips. We did and saw alot, but also had some chill out days at Charming house. Compared to the constant noise of cars and beeping in Sorrento our only noise pollution was the sound of birds, dogs, and the odd car, I would recommend Charming House and Isabella to anyone looking for a holiday with charm, rest and relaxation

Everything was perfect!

I my sister and two kids had 3 weeks holiday (1-21th of October) in Charming House. Everything was great. Nice apartment with kiwi, grapes, zucchini and figs in the yard. Mrs. Izabela was very pleasant and helped us to solve all misunderstandings we had..:) Sant Agata is quite, silent city with narrow streets. For me it was adventure to drive in such streets but I liked it so much! I reccomend Charming House for everyone! Thanks, Izabela! Greta- 29 years, Vaida- 27 y, Augustas- 4 y, Paulius- 1 y.

We had the most wonderful stay at Charming House!

Isabella was the most perfect host, warm, welcoming and generous, we enjoyed many freshly picked zucchini and plums from her garden! Her local knowledge and advice was really helpful to avoid the usual tourist traps. Charming House is situated in the most magical location with stunning views of the surrounding olive and lemon groves and waking up to a sea view every morning was very special. This is the ideal choice for those who want to get away from everything but is close enough to Sorrento to enjoy the bustle if you want to. Sant Agata is a lovely village with excellent bakery, restaurants and shops for your supplies. We had a car but it wasn't necessary, public transport was cheap and reliable. We would definitely like to return to see Isabella and share her beautiful home again.

Hi Isabella Wow... What a fantastic time we enjoyed at your absolutely fabulous 'Charming House'. It was sad that you were in Sweden at the time but we hope you had a great time. We fell in love with San't Agata. The locals, the bars and the restaurants were great. Great trips along the Amalfi Coast, Capri and Pompeii.. And you wern't kidding when you said that we needed small car. You're pets became friends and Sharon enjoyed picking all the fruits of your garden... Perfect place to relax and unwind

Charming house is a wonderful, peaceful holiday hideaway. A beautiful, comfortable home from home with a pretty terrrace boasting fabulous views. Isabella is a lovely, welcoming, kind hostess. No need for a car as local transport is fantastic. This really is a great base from which to explore all this gorgeous area has to offer, I hope we can return one day!

We loved our stay at Charming House! Isabella was a great host and gave us loads of helpful tips and advice. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It was far enough from the town to feel peaceful and rural but was only a 10 minute walk to the middle of Sant'Agata. Sant'agata had lots of great restaurants at a reasonable price and Isabella gave some good recommendations on where to eat. We would definitely recommend Charming House to friends and family.

Fantastic setting with great panoramic views

Fantastic base to take daily excursions to Sorrento, Pompei and the Amalfi coast. No need to hire a car as local bus service is frequent and cheap. Great base from which to explore Amalfi area.

Isabella was an extremely gracious and friendly hostess who gave us some very worthwhile suggestions. Charming House was clean, spacious, secure, and quiet with beautiful views. It was a wonderful spot from which to explore the Amalfi area as well as Pompeii. One day we chose not to drive at all and were able to do a lovely coastal hike right from our back door. We were very close to restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and other shopping. The road down to it from the main part of the town is extremely narrow and steep but Isabella met us in town when we first arrived and escorted us to Charming House. Excellent place to relax and walk in the surrounding or go with the bus or by car to the coast. Everything is available in the appartment+ the only minor point are the rather hard matrasses. We will recommend the property to our friends.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Wir hatten in der Unterkunft eine sehr schöne Zeit und haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt am Hang, so dass die Terrasse einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht bietet. Am Morgen und wĂ€hrend des Tages hat man dort Sonne. Das Haus besteht aus zwei fast identischen Wohnungen fĂŒr GĂ€ste nebeneinander, die sich die große Terrasse teilen. Die Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Beste: die Wirtin, Isabella, und ihre Familie leben gleich obendrĂŒber und helfen gerne, wenn man eine Frage oder ein Problem hat. Und: Wir hatten absolut nicht das GefĂŒhl, zu stören oder die PrivatsphĂ€re der Familie einzudringen. Ganz im Gegenteil: Wir haben uns richtig "zu Hause" gefĂŒhlt. Die Ortschaft ist fast in der Mitte der Sorrentiener Halbinsel gelegen, so dass man leicht schöne AusflĂŒge mit dem Auto oder auch zu Fuß unternehmen kann. Isabella gibt gerne gute Tipps fĂŒr Unternehmungen und Wanderrouten. Der Ort selbst ist auch schön: er bietet SupermĂ€rkte, Metzgereien, BĂ€ckereien, Obst- und GemĂŒselĂ€den und mehrere Restaurants. Alle Leute, die wir getroffen haben, waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fĂŒhlten uns sehr willkommen! Zum Schluss: Man sollte wirklich ein kleines Auto (Fiat 500) mitbringen - der Weg zum Haus ist sehr schmal :)

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

When we bought many years ago this beautiful stone country house from 17th century it was a ruin quite like Pompei!!
It was a wonderful experience restoring the whole house where I live with my family and creating the sea view terrace where are located the two apartments.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

'Charming House' with its panoramic position and sea view is the ideal place to stay for those who enjoy nature and relax.
The property consists of two holiday rental units for rent on the groundfloor/sea view terrace in the main villa where I live (on the first floor) in addition to the shared garden and private parking.
Both apartments have charm and character and a breathtaking sea views over the Amalfi Coast (South side).
If you love pets, the friendly Boxer AmĂšlie (always upstairs in my private home) and the snuggly cats will be an added bonus of your holidays. After any hustle and bustle of the day, you can be guaranteed to have a quiet, peaceful setting to come back to.
It's possible to have wonderful walks along the charming peninsula's landscape as: Crapolla, baia di Ieranto, cala di Mitigliano, Punta Campanella, Marina del Cantone and Recommone. You can also make daily excursions to wonderful places like: Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompei, Capri and Ischia .
The villa is surrounded of olive trees, vineyard, fruit trees and you will be very welcome to pick fruit from my orchard like tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, apricotes, peaches, plumbs, lemons,figs.
