Loved this cute little cabin! Many things to show me the history of the cabin...very high threshold, old-timey latch...easily let me imagine how life would have been when this cabin was built. The views were fantastic!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We used it as a home base to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia. Everything was as described and very clean. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with our family!

The cabin was absolutely perfect! Isolated, rustic and beautiful scenery. Everything you need is 20-25 minutes away, which was ideal for me. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Check in and check out was a dream! I’ve already recommended this cabin and host to my friends.

The quaint, little cabin was super clean, super equipped and very comfortable. Got good nights’ sleep in the king size bed with good pillows and an adequate number of blankets. AND more linens, blankets and towels if need arises. Overall…a 5-star stay!

This house is a gem and the lake it's on is peaceful and beautiful. Very clean, well kept, has all the amenities to keep you comfortable, and it's actually quite a bit larger than you'd predict. Highly recommended!

Incredible Log Cabin on Long Pond

We had a wonderful stay at the log cabin. The setting by long pond is beautiful. We saw bald eagles, geese and other birds. But the most amazing thing was the sound of all the frogs, birds and even a deer chirping at night in a symphony. The authentic log cabin is very charming and cozy.

We came to my Maine to renew our vows in Acadia and celebrate my 30th birthday. It was so nice to be in a cabin in the woods rather than a touristy spot! We felt right at home here. We didn’t realize there was only a stove top and no oven, but we made it work! ( it’s about an hour from Acadia national park/bar harbor.) We spent 3 days there. But Bangor has a lot to explore as well and only 20 minutes away. I would recommend this place again! Much cozier than a hotel stay any day! My four year old loved it.
