Un réglage de contes sur une colline boisée, cette maison en bois de deux étages avec une promenade sur la «zone d'enfant 'la salle du sous-sol et un coin couchage, est le cadre idéal pour obtenir loin de tout. À distance de marche du lac Bass (un tout du lac de sport) et moins d'un mile à trois lac Michigan parcs d'accès public ou sur les plages en font l'endroit idéal pour une famille sortir (voir la carte). Il y a quatre chambres à l'étage, une chambre au premier étage et la chambre d'un enfant ouvert dans le sous-sol de sorte qu'il va dormir un total de 16 personnes. Une salle de bain complète (3) est disponible à chaque niveau de notre maison.

La grande enveloppe de dix pieds autour de porche est un endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et profiter du café du matin ou de siéger à la brise et de parler avec la famille et les amis. Ceci est un cadre très privé et pourtant a toutes les commodités; télévision par câble, Internet, ligne téléphonique terrestre, eau potable à osmose inverse pure et système de filtration de l’eau complet de la maison, micro-ondes, cuisinière à dessus de verre, laveuse et sécheuse

Les enfants vont adorer les systèmes de jeu dans la «zone d'enfant« lieu de vie et de toute la famille va profiter des soirées dans le porche de l'écran de débrayage sur le niveau inférieur donnant sur la zone de la fosse de feu. Le concept salon, salle à manger et la cuisine sont idéales pour se divertir. Le décor antique chic de la maison en bois est délicieux. Tout ce qu'il faut pour profiter de votre séjour est disponible pour vous. Un grille-pain, micro-ondes, cafetière, théière électronique, lave-vaisselle, tous les plats et casseroles, tous les draps et les serviettes sont disponibles pour votre usage. Il y a un parking pour deux voitures à la maison et un parking au bas de la colline pour cinq autres pour vos jouets ou voitures, avec un parking total pour 6-8 véhicules.

Que ce soit à pied les sentiers boisés derrière la maison, visiter les boutiques et des restaurants populaires de Pentwater (cinq miles) et Ludington (10 miles), profitant d'argent Lake State Park (17 miles), ou simplement se détendre sur la terrasse sur le boisé colline, tout pour vos vacances de rêve de la famille est à portée de main.

This is an amazing place! Our 6 grown children and their spouses and children, all vacationed up here with us and we loved the space! We did a camp fire one night and played games every evening! We had everything we needed to cook our meals. We would recommend this place for others!

Adorable lodge that is wonderfully decorated in “Americana cottage”. Wooded location on a hill. Very spacious with big bedrooms and bathrooms. Wrap around porch and a cosy basement playroom/hideaway for the grandkids. We really didn’t want to leave!

Large family getaway

The house was great with lots of room for family to be together but also have their own space. The wrap around porch with lots of seating was a highlight for many! The “yard” Is minimal beyond the fire pit but we were able to go to Lake Michigan each day for kids to run some energy out!

Family Reunion

The lodge is beautiful and very well stocked. We had a fantastic time. I only gave the rating of OK to "check in process" and "cleanliness of the property", because we had a difficult time getting the door opened and the basement porch is very unkempt. Otherwise, everything was in tip-top shape.

Bass Lake getaway cabin

This is a great property to gather with family and enjoy Bass Lake ,Lake Michigan and Pentwater. What a great place to enjoy a vacation. The house is spacious and had lots of amenities. Super comfortable for our big family. The host, Jim, was very easy to work with. Loved it and would recommend it to others!

Great Cabin in the woods

Very clean cabin with all you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of beds to choose from and the 3 bathrooms were just what we needed for our group of 8. (You just need to space out your showers as the hot water ran out.) We loved reading the history of the place and appreciated the wall hangings, photos, and furniture there. Jim and his family did great job fixing up the place!

Comfortable Home near Pentwater

Overall, the stay was great. We had to contact the owner a few times, and he was very responsive to our call. The house can accommodate a large group, but there is plenty of space inside and out so that you are not stepping on each other. Really enjoyed the woodsy setting too. It was great sitting out on the covered porch. Highly recommend.

Great property in a cool place

Our family all got together for a vacation in Michigan and chose this property to rent. The owner was responsive to questions, and the cabin was perfect for us. We did fires in the firepit making smores, caught fish in Lake Michigan and grilled them on the grill, cooked other meals, did the local attractions. The beaches in the area are great, there's plenty to do within a one to two hour radius of this massive cabin. 10/10, would recommend.

Family time

This is a nice property for a lot of people. After we put the children in bed for the night we needed to be very quiet. Sound carries up & down through the floors & ceiling. If you don't have this scenario, it's not a problem. But it was for us. Very nicely stocked. Private, great porch & quiet outside.

We celebrated 55th weddibg anniversary, 2-75 th birthday, 16 th birthday, and two other wedding anniversary. Went to three different beaches, and played around the campfire. Great time.

Relaxing

The house sits quite remotely and you have the feeling that you are alone. Outside fire pit is wonderful. The house inside is a little noisy but that’s expected from an older home. Proximity to Lake Michigan, silver lake and Ludington was a great plus. Loved it!!

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our large family. More than enough kitchen supplies (plates, cups, silver wear, etc.) We especially appreciated the large dining room table we could all fit around for meals. There are lots of games, books, and movies for entertainment in the evenings. We also enjoyed the fire pit and having nightly campfires. Less than 5 minute drive to a free beach access area. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful, spacious, well-equipped cabin

This cabin exceeded our expectations! Nice location - close to various spots on Lake Michigan, downtown Pentwater, and Ludington. The cabin was clean, had fast internet, had every kind of dish/pot/utensil you could ever need. Baby friendly with a high chair and step stools. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels. Beautiful wraparound porch with lots of seating. Even though there are close neighbors, the cabin sits atop a hill and feels secluded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Fun family stay

The house is great in every way. We ate every meal out on the wrap around porch. So close to Lake Michigan at both Pentwater and Ludington. Some golfed. Some shopped. Played corn hole. We took our own. All went to the Lake Michigan beach at the hidden gem of a small township park just five minutes away by car. We all ate too much! Want to do it again!!

Perfect Location!

The house is located with easy access to Pentwater and close to the highway when you want to explore a little further. The house was perfect for us with bedrooms / bath on each of the three levels. Kitchen was well supplied and the wrap-around porch was maybe the favorite spot! But the best part of all was the ease of communication with the host. We had the access information a few days ahead of time just as we had been advised. It was reassuring to know that we were clearly "all set" before even leaving home. (that hasn't always happened in the past) Had a couple minor issues come up while we were there and Jim was easy to reach and pleasant to speak to. Definitely recommend!!

Comfort of cleanliness disgusting

This properties could have been so much more memorable and comfortable if the place would have been cleaned up. There was filth everywhere. We had to wash all surfaces not only for fear of germs and bacteria, but everything was dusty and actually dirty. In a day and age of Coronavirus and all the uncertainty of the pandemic we felt somewhat nervous. You have people coming in to clean, i suggest they be supervised, or even terminated. This home very unsanitary.

A Wonderful Place

We really enjoyed the setting and the house. Being up on the hill top lent privacy and the furniture was comfy cozy in living room, dining, and bedrooms. It had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our group as well as private time away from everyone.
