Beautiful detached Cottage in North Devon sleeping 6

This stunning, south-facing detached barn is situated in its own 5-acre field. Its location across the lane from the main complex of cottages offers guests unrivalled privacy and seclusion. The Linhay has been converted to a very high standard with exposed roof trusses in all rooms, oak flooring throughout and large windows to capture the light from its south-facing position. The spacious accommodation will comfortably sleep 6 people in one double (king-size bed) and two twin bedrooms. It has a large lounge/dining room with wood burning stove, flat screen TV with Sky TV (movies and sports) and DVD player. The Linhay has central heating, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. It also has an integral iPod docking station and free WiFi. The three wet rooms (two of which are en-suite) all have power showers (but please note there are no baths in The Linhay). The Linhay has been designed for full accessibility - the ideal choice for wheelchair users.

Superb indoor and outdoor facilities include heated indoor swimming pool with counter-current jets; traditional sauna; outdoor children's play areas with swings, slides and trampoline; fields for ball games; indoor games room with table football, pool and table tennis tables; free WiFi throughout the whole complex; indoor toddlers soft playroom; and small fishing lake stocked with carp, tench and bream. We have an on-site 9-hole crazy golf course and the village tennis court is available for our guests to use free of charge (booking essential and equipment not provided). Our barbecue lodge is available for guests to reserve to enjoy a barbecue whatever the Devon weather has in store.

We can provide travel cots and highchairs if required.

The village of Witheridge, situated half a mile away, hosts a pub, post office and general store, newsagent and churches.

Whatever the season Newhouse Farm offers a peaceful location with abundant wildlife including resident badgers, barn owls and red deer. The perfect place to relax!
