Excellent experience

My husband and I rented Mahara 2 recently. It was an amazing experience - loved the layout and location of the home. Gorgeous scenery - very relaxing. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for amazing views. Rangeley offered a quaint smalltown experience - with so many excellent restaurants to choose from.

Love Rangeley

Had a great time, house was very spacious well decorated. Rangeley is a very quaint town, friendly, charming and very peaceful. Son caught his first Landlock Salmon in Rangeley lake, boating, tubing. Great time, would go back again!!

Youth Retreat

Great property in a great location. Proximity to town and local attractions was great. The heard of deer roaming the property was an unexpected delight. Plenty of room to accommodate a large group and overall wonderful property. The only challenge was the parking because we had 5 vehicles and all the snow limited our ability to move around a bit but it wasn't a major issue.

Indigenous Peoples Weekend Getaway

Although the weather was not optimal, it was better than the forecast offered. We spent more time at the property than we had intended, but that didn't dampen the visit to Rangeley. The accomodations were fabulous. The children had plenty of room to play on their own without being annoyed by adults! The evenings were peaceful when we turned in. We enjoyed the town and Quill Hill is a must see. Also the ride around the lake on Monday when we left for home was beautiful ending to a lovely weekend!

Our stay at Mahara 2

The cabin was comfortable and the walking trail to the lake was a big plus. We enjoyed being in the woods where it was quiet and wild life was around. The bedroom below grade was musty do to the moisture. The de-humidifier did not seem to take enough moisture out of the air. All in all a great place to stay and the cost was reasonable. Thank you all for being so helpful with clear directions for things in the cabin. Best, Doug Barrett

We had a great stay- we felt the property was missing some essential items. There were no potholders in the kitchen. We went without power for several hours on two occasions and there were no flashlights in this rental or even a candle.

Wonderful Rangeley Lake getaway!

Loved this spot! Nice path down to the water (about a 5-10 minute walk) and access to a dock, which also had a canoe for paddling on the lake. Plenty of space for a large family group.

RELAXING VACATION SPOT

Beautiful quite location. Near hiking, state park for swimming and Rangeley town. The beds were the only downfall with a couple of families. Only one working TV was an inspiration to be outside!

Relaxing

We had a great time, caught a lot of fish and the lakes are beautiful. Could of used a couple more beds where there were 10 male adults, but other than that everything was perfect.

Was a very nice place to stay. Limited trailer parking if you are snowmobiling and have big trailers to park. House was great for all 11 of us who stayed. Well equipped and suited us just fine. Deer were everywhere and was nice to wake up and have your morning coffee and watch them pass through. Highly recommended.

Great Cabin

The cabin was great for our anniversary weekend. We stayed for a week with a few friends visiting throughout. Our two dogs loved the space as well. The only downside was the basement bed is incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Could use an update. It is close to the water and deck space if perfect for relaxing and grilling.

Absolutely perfect!

Rangeley will forever remain with us and is breathtakingly beautiful. The local folks were incredibly friendly. Mahara 2 was the perfect size for our family and our stay there was nothing less than perfect.

House is in a great location. Love the area. House has deeded water rights. .... There is a (Snowmobile trail) trail to access the lake that I was told is all grown in and not maintained, however I spoke to the neighbor and she explained where the trail was and it is perfectly maintained and wide open beautiful walk to the lake. We were so pleased to have found this! Leaving the house, bottom of driveway take a left and you will run straight into the trail. Would definitly rent this house again!
