This beautifully appointed cottage is situated directly on Lake Bowen in the Upstate of South Carolina, offering a perfect setting for a tranquil getaway. The property features a saltwater pool and a fixed dock, ideal for various water sports and leisure activities. With two large covered porches, there is ample space for families or groups of friends to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Tryon Equestrian Center, 20-30 minutes from Greenville and Spartanburg, and a 55-minute drive to Asheville, NC.

Spanning over 2,500 square feet across two levels, this inviting 4-bedroom, 3-bath home boasts stunning views of Lake Bowen. The main level features an open floor plan that connects the kitchen and living room, leading out to a covered outdoor porch. Guests can gather around the gas fireplace on cooler nights or enjoy an open fire at the outdoor fire pit.

As the day winds down, the cozy downstairs sitting area, complete with a minibar (BYOC - bring your own cocktails), provides a perfect spot for relaxation. This area is also great for kids, who can play games or watch movies while adults enjoy the outdoor porches.

Each of the four bedrooms offers a touch of luxury with warm bedding and crisp white linens. The layout includes:

- Bedroom 1: King room with a shared bath.

- Bedroom 2: Queen room with shared bath.

- Bedroom 3: Queen room w/private bath.

- Bedroom 4: Downstairs bedroom has a king size bed. The second living room and 3rd full bathroom is on this lower level. Makes for adult privacy or for a children's space.

During your stay, you will have direct access to the water, making it easy to enjoy lakeside living. On warm summer days, take advantage of the private dock and sitting area, or grab a kayak for some exploration on the lake. If you wish to venture out, the region offers numerous hiking opportunities, and downtown Spartanburg or Greenville is less than a half-hour drive away. Asheville, NC, is also just a 55-minute drive, perfect for a day trip.

For equestrian enthusiasts, the Tryon World Equestrian Center is only 25 minutes away, hosting world-class shows during the season. Additionally, unwind at one of the many nearby vineyards, with Overmountain being a must-visit.

The cottage is conveniently located near several colleges, including Wofford, Converse, Furman, USC Upstate, SCC, Sherman College, and VCom, making it an ideal stay for visitors to these institutions. There is plenty of parking available on the property.

Pool Details: The pool is open from early April through October and is heated with solar energy, so the temperature may vary depending on weather conditions.

Boat Rental Details: Contact information for boat rentals will be provided upon booking. The rental cost is $350 for 4 hours, with additional hours at $25 each. For consecutive day rentals, the pricing decreases with each additional day. Each boat accommodates up to 11 people and is not powered for tubing; however, one boat is set up for fishing. At the end of the rental, guests are responsible for the fuel used. All necessary safety equipment, including a canopy, anchor, fish finder/depth gauge, Bluetooth hookup, map, and lake rules, are provided, and the boat will be delivered to your dock.

Our quiet neighborhood is perfect for enjoying lake life and relaxation. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious porch, and rest assured that guests have access to the entire house, including the pool and lake. Please note that during the busy summer season, the boat dock is shared with the owner's other property.
