NEW Travelers Rest | Cute Bungalow Close to I-20

Cute 2 bedroom 1 bath bungalow with a bonus room! Perfect for travelers traveling through. We are extremely close proximity to I-20. Stop off and stay with us, let your pets run in the fenced in backyard, wash your clothes with our washer and dryer and spread out for the night!

We also have room (depending on size) to park your RV/Camper for FREE if you are traveling with one! Just send us a message!!

We would love to host you and your family whether you are coming into town to visit, see family, go to a wedding nearby or just passing through we have everything you need for your stay! Fully stocked kitchen, fully stocked bathroom. 2 queen beds and 1 full size bed.

We do allow pets and have a fenced in backyard for your pets!
PLEASE KNOW if you bring more than 2 pets there will be an additional charge of $30 per pet. The first 2 pet(s) are $75 and must be added to your reservation.


This property is shared with another Airbnb. But don’t worry! It’s all private. Both properties share a driveway entrance and that’s it! The other Airbnb is a Skoolie tiny home and it has its own parking and private fenced in yard. If you have any issues please feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll be glad to answer any questions! We loved our stay at this cute cottage! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were really comfy, and we felt right at home. Great location too, close to the highway and easy to get around. We’d definitely stay here again!

We were supposed to stay there but the job got canceled. They worked with us and responded very reasonably. We appreciate their understanding with the situation and would recommend them to anyone.

Great Bungalow

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very communicative, check-in was a breeze, and the rooms were comfortable. Just right for my wife and I, and two of our adult children.

Everything was great! Although the location is on a fairly busy road it is set far enough back that it is not an issue. Added bonus is that the property is pet friendly which our family always prefers being pet owners and lovers ourselves.

Great Overnight Stay!

Perfect for our overnight stay on our way from Kansas to SC. Easy access from the highway. Very clean and cozy. My family of four plus our pets felt at home for the night. Would definitely recommend!

The host was great. Very good communication throughout the stay. All of the house’s amenities were great! Good temperature, comfortable couches, plenty of space for us. My only complaint would be the plastic mattress covers. They made sleeping in the beds a bit noisy if you move around a lot. Other than that, it was great for our stay in Georgia.

House was immaculate. The one bedroom does not have a door on it. There is a door that goes to the back porch in that bedroom that has no curtains on it. The house is on a busy street and you can hear the traffic. There is also a train that runs somewhere behind the property that sounded its horn at 130 am.

The house was fine overall but a few things would greatly improve the experience. The fridge constantly makes ice and cannot be turned off. It overflows and leaks on the floor. The water dispenser doesn’t work, so there is no need to have the water connected. The oven, air fryer, and bbq need a good cleaning. We noticed cooking utensils that were dirty also. The bed creaked and the plastic mattress cover crinkled every time we moved which made sleeping for us quite difficult. I did mention the ice when we first arrived but never heard anything during our week there.

The Waco Bungalow was very comfortable. My friends and I had a quilting retreat at the house and never left the house during our stay. My only comment was the refrigerator had water leaking on the floor because the ice maker could not be turned off when full. We put a towel down to catch the water and made sure we emptied the ice before we left. I called and I think I spoke to Megan and told the problem. I was disappointed when she said she could do nothing about the problem. We had a wonderful time despite the leaking ice maker.

We were very, very disappointed when we walked in the rental to see there was a soaked towel in front of the refrigerator due to a leak. Throughout our time there we had to keep changing the towel because the leak was persistent. This did not appear to be a new issue as arrived to the rental and the tile is already in place to soak up all the water coming out of the refrigerator.We were additionally very upset to see the condition of the couch. The couch and the chair in the living room were both covered in stains snd smelled of a pet. In fact, we were hesitant to even sit down. While we appreciate Pet friendly rentals, we expect a clean rental and a satisfactory place to sit in the living room. Given the amount of pet deposit charges collected, it seems to be the issue should not have occurred.There were many plug-in air fresheners throughout the bungalow. Seems that a thorough cleaning should have been a priority here.It was great having a fenced in backyard, but the deck area was heavily soiled. The glass windows that went somewhere down under the house were broken out. This was incredibly concerning, but not much we could do about it. These many things made our stay really unpleasant. These are not issues that had just occurred rather these issues clearly had been persistent for a while at this rental facility. The photographs do not adequately describe the property.We did take our own photographs upon entering the property.
