Indian Creek Cabin, McKee KY- 2 BR cabin on the Rockcastle River in McKee, KY!

This lovely 2 bedroom cabin is an adventurer's dream cabin situated on 10 acres with direct riverfront access to the Rockcastle River. It is a perfect place for off-roading, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, hiking and horse trails. Located on the Rockcastle River in Jackson County, KY it is adjacent to the Daniel Boone Forest and one-mile from the S-Tree off-road trails and the famous Sheltowee Trace hiking trail. There is plenty of parking for trucks with off-road trailers, etc. It also boasts a large outdoor pavillion with a gas grill and a wood fireplace. Spend your evenings relaxing around the fire while enjoying the quiet and the beautiful setting. Each bedroom has a king bed and large television. There are 3 TVs and wifi. The bathroom has a walk-in tile shower and a stackable washer/dryer. The kitchen has everything you need, including refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee maker. There is a deck with patio table in back with great views of the river and mountains while you sip your morning coffee. Indian Creek Cabin awaits those looking for adventure or just a quiet getaway for relaxing!

I stayed here after my employee stayed here and said how nice it is. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area. Really nice outdoor space for gathering and the cabin has everything you need. One of the bedrooms doesn't have windows, which is a dream for someone who sleeps late! Both bedrooms have a mini split which is a really nice touch.

The cabin was quaint, beautiful and very clean and accommodating. The hosts provided things in the kitchen and bathroom that made our stay great. The outdoor fireplace and grill were a nice addition to our stay. The hosts were very easy to contact when needed. We highly recommend Indian Creek cabin

This is my kind of cabin. King sized beds, covered porch and not too many steps. I opened the windows and listened to the steady rainfall. When it stormed nearby, i sat on the porch and watched the lightning behind the mountain. Peaceful bliss with nearly zero traffic, yet we were still only about 30 minutes from all the amenities we’re used to. Highly recommend!

Away from It All

Not a vacation hot spot. But it’s just what we wanted. We stayed in the cabin or outside under the pavilion the entire stay. Great way to relax with zero expectations.

Secluded in the Heart of The Gorge

Although you have to be careful with GPS. This place was perfect in every way and soooo comfortable. Secluded but close by the Red River Gorge. Check out nearby red river gorge trails, tours, and nature.

Peaceful

The cabin was very nice, clean, serene, and had everything that we needed...a little far out... The kitchen facilities were nice, shower facilities nice, really large comfy beds and a very peaceful atmosphere outside on the property... Felt safe there... My power steering went out and the guy who mows the yard for them came and brought me power steering fluid... Thank God... Would recommend this place and would stay there again...

A peaceful hidden gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful little cabin! Tucked away off the beaten path in the beautiful countryside of Kentucky, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The setting was incredibly serene and peaceful—just what we needed to unwind for the weekend. The cabin itself was so charming—beautifully decorated, thoughtfully updated, and impeccably clean. Every detail made it feel cozy and inviting. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the tranquility this spot has to offer.What a great piece of property—truly a hidden gem! We’ll definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway in the country.

A little getaway

The cabin is beautiful! There’s not a neighbor in sight and no noise to be heard. It was perfectly clean with everything you need to cook inside or in the beautiful outdoor pavilion which was also clean! The bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay there again! It’s remote, bring groceries and supplies with you!

15 Stars!

Perfect for up to 2 couples. My husband and I stayed here to ride at Wildcat ATV Park. The park is about 15 miles away but we wanted seclusion. It has a pavilion with an awesome fire place. We got 2 evenings of rain but we stayed dry and warm under the pavilion. We honestly saw maybe 10 cars the whole 4 days of our stay. The owner had top notch communication and was super accommodating. We had plenty of parking for the truck and trailer. The kitchen was well equipped and even had an air fryer, which we loved. The washer and dryer was very handy! Two king beds and large TVs in each room. The bathroom is exactly as pictured. The shower is beautifully tiled. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Wildcat ATV Park.
