The Owl's Nest

If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax and unwind, you’ve found it. The Nest is peaceful, quiet, and secluded with all the comforts of home and within minutes of grocery shopping, antiquing, state parks and Lake Bob Sandlin. Relax on the screened in porch, around the fire pit or in front of the wood burning stove. You might even catch sight of the many deer in the area that love to visit the feeder in the back yard! Along with deer there are racoons, river otters, eagles and too many songbirds to mention! Bring your camera!
For you fishermen and water enthusiast, we have boat parking next to the cabin with outlets for charging and a boat launch approximately 8 miles away.
Drive 15 minutes in one direction and you’re in lovely downtown Winnsboro with antique shops, restaurants, a spa, farmers market and grocery shopping. Drive the other direction for 20 minutes and you’re in Mt Pleasant.
The Nest offers a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, queen size sleeper sofa and 2 twins in the loft. And we didn’t forget about your fur babies! There are 2 large, covered crates for them that are cleaned and disinfected after ever visit. The bathroom is equipped with towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The Nest also has a washer / dryer! No need to over pack or take-home dirty laundry!
