Sur la belle rive sud de Maui, Sugar Beach Resort est niché entre Maalaea et Kihei. Situé directement sur la plage de sable de sucre il est un favori parmi les amateurs de soleil et aventurier de même.

Sugar Beach a plus de 5 miles de plage de sable doré qui est idéal pour la marche, la course, la natation, la plongée en apnée et de paddle-embarquement. Sugar Beach Resort est également situé au centre et est un excellent point de départ pour partir à voyager et explorer l'île.

Le 4ème étage, vue sur l'océan et de l'unité de coin au Sugar Beach Resort est une salle de bains condo 1 chambre, 1 qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Il ya un lit king size dans la chambre et un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Le condo a une cuisine complète, salon et véranda qui est idéal pour le craquage d'une bouteille de vin et regarder le coucher de soleil sur les paumes vivre. Wonderful escape

We were very happy with this rental. Very quiet place. Had everything we needed and a beautiful water view which we enjoyed from the deck and down on the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Well stocked and comfortable.

Our family stayed here for a couple days at the end of a longer trip to Hawaii. It was comfortable and easy to check in to. We really appreciated having laundry facilities and convenient parking. The beach was great but it was super windy while we were there.

The property served us well as a clean place to stay while we explored the island. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings. The hot tub was a great place to relax & listen to the ocean waves. Communication with the host was easy, and responses were quick. We would probably pick a different location on the island next time, as this area wasn’t where we preferred to spend our time. Also, we knew ahead of time the property was dated, but for the amount we paid… we definitely could’ve done better looking back on this experience. We didn’t realize this, as this was our first time visiting Maui.

We loved our condo at Sugar Beach resort! The room literally had everything we could think of needing, and more! Comfy bed, AC worked great, and the view from the Lanai was amazing! Hot tub and oceanfront hangs were just a short stroll from the room. Would 100% stay here again!

Great view and great condo

We could see whales from our lanai every day. Condo was nice and just like the pictures. Kim was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

Active vacation

Great location to explore all of Maui’s diverse activities-West Maui Mountain, Road to Hana, Haleakala Crater, and south Maui beaches. We liked starting our day with a Long Beach walk followed by sipping coffee on the lanai. From the lanai there are views of ocean and WMM. We enjoyed relaxing after a busy day by the pool/beach. This is a cozy, comfortable unit.

Wonderful Stay

This stay was one of the highlights of our vacation. Beautiful views, convenient location, close to everything. Beach is located right behind the resort. You have a sunset view right from your balcony. The place is well-decorated, well-equipped and had everything we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked. Bed was comfortable. Having washer and dryer was a plus. Definitely recommend this stay!

Great rental option

Overall, a great property! Very clean and well-maintained. Property owner was helpful and responsive. Beach sometimes got windy during the afternoons but the central location made it easy to explore other beaches too. Lots of “extras” in the room - beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, etc. Would definitely come back here again!

Great location and very comfortable!

We had such a great time on Maui and at SBR!! We felt comfortable like at home, but with all the amenities of a great vacation. The condo was well stocked with everything we could need. It’s also centrally located to have easy access to all corners of the island. The beach is great for long walks and not crowded. Our room being on the south of the property was great because we didn’t get harsh sun on our lanai during the day, plus had a great view of the sunset. We highly recommend this condo and definitely will be booking again!

We had a wonderful two weeks at Sugar Beach. Always something new to discover. Definitely recommend a visitor paddle with the Kihei Canoe Club! Condo was comfortable and had all the things we needed for meals and the beach. Lovely views from the lanai. Great walking beach and pool. We love our time at Sugar Beach! Fourth floor on the end- nice place

Fantastic location. Direct beach access is a definite plus. Fourth floor- it was nice to have elevators going up :-). The corner apartment was nice for extra light and the bird refuge across the way made a nice scene. The fridge ice machine was a little wonky but managed okay. Communication with the owner was always prompt and pleasant.

Sugar Beach 5th Time at Property

It's a great location for experienced travelers in Maui. Maui is for the early riser. If you want to enjoy all that this island has to offer, you MUST get out of bed early. Plan on sleeping from 10pm - 6am. If you can do that, you will be impressed with this property.

Great location right on the beach

This property is in a great location. It's right on the beach north of Kihei, so it's not in a busy part of town. This condo is an end unit closest to the road, so there is some road noise but it wasn't problematic. The views and sounds of the ocean from the lanai are great. The property was comfortable and had lots of beach gear that helped make our stay better. We had some TV problems and the property managers were very responsive and helpful.

An Enjoyable Time!

Although it is older (and we were well aware of that being my wife stayed here with a friend 35 years or so ago), we felt it was clean, comfortable, and affordable! I was impressed with the quick response by the Vacasa folks when we needed something! If improvements/additions are made at some point pool wise, a larger (or a 2nd one) hot tub would be NICE as it was awfully crowded at times!

Enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was really nice to come back from exploring the island and relax on the patio or go down and sit at the beach. Short enough walk from the beach that it was easy to go back up to the condo to grab anything that we needed. Elevators were quick so we didnt have to go up the stairs every time. We noticed that one of the beach chairs in the rental had a broken leg. We weren't too concerned because there are already chairs at the complex, but owner responded quickly and had another chair delivered later that day which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Family friendly resort and very convenient to everything in Kihei!

We had the best time at the Sugar Beach Resort. My husband and I traveled with our two teens. The unit was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We did not need a lot of space, since we spent most of our time outdoors at the beach or exploring Kihei and the rest of Maui. The king bed was super comfortable and my teens said they slept great on the pullout sofa bed. Check in was a breeze. The location is perfect, within 5-10 minutes drive to all the restaurants in Kihei, 15-20 min to Wailea. The beach is quaint and quiet. The property is beautifully maintained, we met some of the owners at the pool and it seems like it is a really nice community. People are out BBQing every night on the lawn. We had no issues and no complaints, would definitely return!

Great space

Fully stocked with cookware etc, felt safe in the area. Plenty of things to do within a small drive and grocery etc nearby. Didn’t realize this is the windiest area of the island so be prepared to venture out. Has a great time though. Very clean except the bathroom shower walls had product and residue from the previous visitors. You also have to take out the trash which I’ve never had to do considering cleaning fees and all that gets charged but the trash shoot is nearby and there were plenty replacement bags. Wasn’t that big a deal. I would recommend the place if you don’t mind wind. The view of the ocean is still great.

Resort property was very clean. Every morning I was there the pool and hot tub, sidewalks, grounds, etc. were deep cleaned. While there the flights of stairs and hall floors were deep cleaned, pool bathroom roof was deep cleaned, and the entire resort is being repainted. A very well maintained property.Upon arrival I noticed the unit did not have a beach umbrella as advertised so I let them know and Kim had one sent up the next day.Pull out couch was actually very comfortable and my family of four had plenty of space. Perfect location on the island- can get anywhere quickly.Some have complained about the wind but it helped make hot summer sun less scalding, like a fan was constantly on outside. It was really nice actually. You can go to other beaches on the island for a day if you desire less wind.Ocean in front of property is murky and not good for snorkeling but fine for all other water activities.No complaints, the room was advertised accurately.

No code to enter apartment

We arrived on Christmas day and the office was closed. It said we’d get a code 3 days before the end of the department and we never received a code. Period the property owner never gave us her phone number so we did not know how to get a hold of her. We had to Before we get a hold of the property company to let us in.. Then the safe in the unit there was no code for it even though they told you to please lock your valuables up so I had to request the code from the owner again.

Hi Linda, I'm so sorry this happened to you and I'm so glad we got it resolved within an hour of you contacting me via VRBO message on the day of your arrival, Christmas Day. I immediately double checked with VRBO and they assured me that the door code and our phone numbers were emailed to you, 3 days prior to your arrival, on Dec 22, as well as being uploaded into the VRBO app and web. As for the safe, it sounds like the bolt got jammed and I'm happy we were able to get it working again when we spoke on the day of your arrival. I hope the rest of your trip went well and you enjoyed beautiful Maui.

Wenn man Wind mag, ist man hier richtig.

Die Wohnung und die Anlage sind gut. Allerdings liegt sie direkt am Highway, es sind keine Geschäfte oder Restaurants in der Nähe. Man muss immer mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten fahren. Außerdem liegt sie am windigsten Ort auf Maui. Der Wind peitschte von früh bis spät durch die Anlage.
