Not the worst, but not for us.

We recently stayed here for a 4-generation family trip. The experience wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. I had realistic expectations —based on maps— for a smaller home in an older neighborhood with an unusual layout to accommodate 20 guests. Still, a few things stood out.The house next door looked like a scrap yard, which was disappointing upon arrival. Inside, we walked the property trying to figure out the sleeping arrangement. There were a couple of air mattresses, so fitting everyone felt like solving a puzzle.The main refrigerator didn’t work, which was inconvenient. Some areas had a mildew smell and signs of moisture damage, making them feel less clean. The pool surface was concrete and chipping, and the surrounding area was very slick — something to be mindful of. A few parts of the home were worn or had been poorly repaired.On the positive side, the A/C worked great throughout the house — huge plus in the summer. The backyard was definitely the highlight. You can tell a lot of effort went into that area, and we enjoyed spending time there. The separate suite outside the main house was also a favorite.Overall, we weren’t completely dissatisfied, but we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
