Sing your way to the stars in this once opera house, now mixed use building! This centrally located historic building was built in 1887 and underwent a complete remodel in 2023. Walk to your favorite speakeasy, restaurant, coffee shop, or just enjoy sitting under the stars on your outside rooftop terrace. This unit is equipped with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry in-unit, and supplies to accommodate a short or long term stay.

We walked next door to a small bakery for coffee and then came back for brunch. Very convenient.

Great location downtown. Lots of places within walking distance. Condo was very clean. Plush carpet upstairs. I would recommend and would stay again. Good communication.

The place was very nice. Very clean and well taken care of. Be ready to walk up lots of stairs. The place we stayed in was on the second floor-no elevator-maybe 20 steps. The bedrooms are upstairs inside the condo-so be ready for more steps. The view from the outside deck is not so great-It's and ally with maybe 5 dumpsters.

Christmas under the stars

We had a great stay at the downtown condo. Very spacious and well appointed. Communication with hosts was immediate. Our family with small grandkids came for an afternoon visit allowing us to take advantage of the beautiful Christmas lights and window decorations on 3rd. The kids were so excited at most every storefront. They were amazed at the beautiful tree as well.

Beautiful apartment above downtown Grand Island!

We had a lovely long Thanksgiving weekend in Gabe and Cathryn‘s place above downtown Grand Island. The apartment was clean, warm and inviting! It was quiet and a great location to partake in Downtown shops, restaurants and even the lovely Henry J‘s Speakeasy directly below the apartment. We come to Eastern Nebraska often to visit family. We hope to stay here again and enjoy the rooftop patio. The only hiccup we had was with the door code and thumb print to get in, and a sweet neighbor tried to assist us. It was not a big deal; we got in! This was most likely operator error!

Easy to locate, parking at times tricky. Safe, there are stairs so be prepared if mobility is an issue. Very clean, had every thing we needed, especially enjoyed the plants and decor!! Beds super comfortable, rooms bright with sunshine. Comfortable living, dinning and kitchen area for conversation. Loved the balcony with a full moon!!! Great restaurants downtown very impressed with so many. Grand Island is doing a great job with improvements to keep downtown alive!!!
