Great location and close to everything. Close to two train stations and a bus station. Airport bus drops you off about two blocks away (purple bus, the 500), took bus to Stirling castle from bus station, took train to Inverness from Queen Street station. Easy to get to both and we ate at various venues since we were in middle of town. However we did eat in several times since the kitchen was great. Many small grocery stores nearby. Friday and Saturday nights the streets get a little noisey, so be aware of that one thing. It also has plenty of slightly pesky sea gulls and pigeons. It's a city by the sea and both of these critters are fairly stupid and will try to get in if you leave a door open. Other than the birds being opportunists, we loved this place and are thinking we might come back again just to see more of Glasgow from this place. We NEVER had a need for a taxi here. Walking was preffered and the Hop on Hop off option was great. Excellent place as a home base to take trips to nearby castles and lowland venues. Museums are fantastic here and most are free. Stirling Castle is a must do. Walk down to Golden Lion in town of Stirling and have high tea at Cronies. BTW, we never heard the trains or buses from this place even though they're very close.

Clean and modern apartment in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay at your apartment. We walked all around from there to restaurants, bars and shopping. There was a bit of noise late at night from the bar a few doors down but it could not be heard from the bedroom so it was not a problem. The only thing I would add is a cutting board for those who would like to prepare food. We just used a plate. We would definitely recommend this this apartment!

Great location, extremely responsive owner, ok accomodations

Let me start by saying the owner is terrific. He was extremely responsive and helpful. The location of this unit is terrific. Walk outside and up a block and you are close to a lot of things. There is an adult club at the end of the block but we didn't even realize it until the final evening. As far as the accommodations, they were ok but could use several improvements. The bed sheets were torn, the towels could use to be replaced, the sink in the bathroom is tiny, there are no places to hang the towels, the unit was very hot - with no way to control the temperature (the owner added a fan, which helped a bit, but there was no front cover on it so watch your fingers). It's nice that the unit had a washer/dryer but it's combined in one unit and the dryer part doesn't work at all. All that said, great customer service and location but I didn't think this was a 5-star unit. With some minimal investment, it could be.

Perfect location close to shopping and sights.

This sleek, modern flat is just steps away from Buchanan Street and the train station. It's also an easy walk from the George Square, cathedral and the necropolis. It's small but appropriate for two, and the entertainment system is superb. There is some street noise, but the bedroom is in the back and well insulated from the hubbub. Owner is helpful and courteous.

Great location with modern amenities

We spent three nights there in May. The apartment was only one block from the best part of lower Buchanan Street. The unit is a 10 minute walk from the Buchanan Bus depot and even closer to the train stations. The unit was spacious, modern and well equipped. Craig was very responsive to any questions we had and even let us check-in early as he had no prior booking the previous day. That really helped us as we were arriving after a long flight from California. We will book again if we should get back to Glasgow.

Great location and accommodation!

We could not have had a better location for our first Glasgow experience! The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. We walked to grocery, gift shops, coffee shop, GOMA, and The Lighthouse-which is across the street!! (Don't miss this tucked away art museum with Fabulous Macintosh exhibit!) Craig was a wonderful host who handled every question and need promptly. Definitely worth the investment!

Immaculate, central location

Great central location, immaculately clean; lovely and modern; no rowdy neighbours; lots of special little features; free WiFi; comfortable bed, quiet bedroom. I forgot to take tea/coffee so was relieved to find there was some provided. host proactive and thoughtful. I would definitely stay there again.

EXCELLENT! BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS...

From the moment we walked into the Flat, to the time we left, we couldn't have been happier. The Flat was immaculate...very clean and modern. It was very spacious, quiet and had a very comfortable bed also. The Apartment is situated in a great location with everything that you need, close by. It is walking steps to a grocery store, shopping, Central Station, the Tube... there was never a reason to catch a cab. The Owner, Craig, was extremely accommodating. He answered any questions I had, and responded to my emails immediately. Craig was definitely the 'Host with the Most'! I highly recommend renting this Flat. If we were ever to visit Scotland again, I would definitely stay here without hesitation. Thanks so much Craig!
