Perched on the third floor of the château, the Florence Room offers a refined retreat with sweeping views of classical gardens and the surrounding mountains. Unwind in the cozy window seat as natural light fills the space, or settle into the plush king-sized bed for a restful stay. This private guest room features its own entrance and en-suite bathroom for added comfort and privacy.

The Property

Welcome to the Florence Room at Château Herbe — a contemporary château estate blending timeless elegance with modern luxury. Located just minutes from I-5 and downtown Ashland, the property features beautifully curated grounds designed for relaxation and exploration.

Guest Access

Guests are invited to enjoy the château’s shared sunroom, library, coffee bar, and patio spaces. Stroll through the vineyard, gardens, orchards, pond, pergola, and classical fountain throughout your stay.

Esther, the welcoming and helpful host is amazing. The Florence room was superb and the castle grounds and surroundings are beautiful. I plan to return in the Fall. Again, Esther is amazing and returns all messages and/or calls in a timely fashion. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful castle only a ten minute walk to Ashland and the Bear Creek bike trail.

The area is beautiful, secure, and quiet. Everything is nicely kept with the basic amenities that meet the same needs as most hotels. It is easily located between Medford and a very short back road to Ashland. I would stay here over any hotel for the price, security and ambiance. Very lovely!

It was absolutely beautiful here. The people who work here are incredibly friendly and considerate. We loved walking around the property and enjoyed the unique Chateau view.Definitely will revisit if we come back here again!

Quiet was the #1 attraction. It was nice to stroll around or sit outside and relax.The check-in with codes made it easy, and the coffee station near the front door was fully stocked and convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chateau. I would definitely recommend it for your next trip to Ashland. The property and grounds were beautiful. It was so peaceful and relaxing despite being only an easy 5 minute Uber/Lyft from town. It felt very safe at all hours and we had no issues with check in or out.

We noticed a mildew (?) ring inside in the hottub - but it wasn't too bad at all and used it anyways and it was fine... :)We will definitely stay here again. Quiet, private, well maintained. Perfectly located.

Great place to relax.

I knew it was a mockup of a French Chateau, but wasn’t expecting the Greek statues displayed around the property or the warm colored room with renaissance paintings and armor. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute and Comfy Chateau!

My partner and I had a fabulous time at the Chateau during our time in Ashland for the OSF. Downtown Ashland is only a mile away and the surrounding neighbors are precious. Our stay at the Chateau felt comfortable and fun! Our host was on top of communication and supported us with any issues we had. We would definitely came back!

Ashland Chateau

The host was very quick to inform us of a booking issue and resolved the matter in a professional and understanding way, which resulted with my partner and I staying in the Athens room.The property is very nice, we heard birds chirping, and enjoyed the sauna and walking the grounds. We would definitely come back and are already thinking about visiting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival next year with more friends and staying here again.

The interior was great the exterior is showing a little tiredness.The kitchen needs extra utensils, plates, bowls, for multiple users.The refrigde had food , fruits etc but we were not sure if they were for tenant users! But we would definitely come back!
