Beautiful home with everything we needed for an amazing family vacation on the lake! The host was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. The arrival and departure processes were some of the easiest we’ve encountered. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home with an amazing sun room across back where we spent most inside time. Very clean, great dock. We rented a pontoon boat for two days at the very close marina and a jet ski for a couple hours. Swimming dock was nice with kayaks and SUP. Great kitchen very well stocked with all you need. Nice deck for grilling. We will come back.

This place was AMAZING! It was exactly what we were looking for. The house is HUGE. We had 9 big people and 3 kids and everyone had plenty of space. The owner has literally thought of everything with this house, there were board games for the young and old, kids toys, highchair, playpen, coffee, creamer, detergent
..everything! We can not recommend this house enough. We also rented a boat for one day but honestly there was no need for the boat the dock provided enough space for swimming and the kids loved the jumping dock.

Checks Every Box

The owner puts a lot of thought and care into everything here. Communication was very clear. Spacious inside and outside for so many activities. Very quiet. Very clean. Fantastic views. The coffee setup (yes both kinds of coffee makers) is sweet too. We plan to return.

Peaceful Weekend

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend with some close friends. The back room was so peaceful that we had a hard time leaving it. There was room for all of us to recline, relax, and enjoy the view. We also made a big fancy dinner in the kitchen, which was fully equipped! We took multiple soaks in the hot tub, which can be accessed without going outside. It was just what we needed, and we will definitely come back!

Brian and I managed long-term single-family rentals for many years as we raised our family near to St Louis. Southern IL was a favorite destination for all things outdoor with our 3 kiddo's, staying in Airbnb's most often when we visited. Once our children grew up, we sold our long-term rentals and invested in a home here on the lake. We not only quickly grew to love hosting our family and friends and sharing our favorite place, but requests to rent on our off dates quickly outgrew our capacity to share our home AND enjoy it as often as we wanted to be here as well. So we decided to grow. Like many on the lake, we are just a small "mom & pop" but we take pride in what we offer, & hope to facilitate other's enjoying the area the same that we did. LOE is a hidden gem, we love to host and share all of our favorite local marina's, hiking trails, restaurants, & antique stores. Now as new grandparents, we are excited to offer more child friendly extra's as we learn from this exciting next chapter of our lives.
