The cottage was a perfect size for four adults. It was extremely well stocked and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the setting was very peaceful. The host, Lis, was very responsive and attentive. There were a few good restaurants in town, but we fell in love with River View and became repeat customers.Stock up with groceries before you get into town. The location is incredibly good! You have quick access to Sequoia National Park, and a little further to drive to Kings Canyon.If we come back with friends, we will stay in the exact same spot, if available.

We loved how close this house was to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Lis was wonderful and even drove over to help us with a TV remote issue. I Would recommend this property and would stay again if in the area.

I appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with items we might need. also the priperty manager gave much valuable info ahead of time abt places to go and see.

Great launching point into Sequoia and Kings Canyon

Great place to stay to enjoy the surrounding parks. Cozy and comfy. We brought our small dog with us and there’s ample space outside. Host provided a bunch of helpful info about the park and Three Rivers. Very nice! Good -pace to eat, but very busy during peak hours. The only downside is that there are tons of ground squirrel holes and I almost twisted my ankle a couple of times walking the dog around in the evening.

I had only one problem with the properties. The air conditioning being set on a timer. It was tedious, remembering to turn the timer every three hours and difficult at times to get to even work.

Perfect location. Quiet street and walking distance to a lovely river. Close to nearby restaurants and a short drive away from the park. We enjoyed the amenities and cleanliness of the home. Definitely recommend.

Close to Sequoia National Park

Wonderful stay, house was clean, comfortable beds. Great location near the park, easy to access from the main road. Lis kept in communication and was great to work with. House was just as described, perfect for our family of 3 adults to use.

Cozy Cottage at Sequoia Parks Front Door

Communication with Liz was really great. She responded immediately to every single request. Even though we arrived several hours earlier than check in time, they were able to finish cleaning to accommodate us so our cat did not have to stay in the car any longer.The place was clean and spotless and very cozy and fit the two of us and our kitty very well. We love the fact that it felt like home. I love the fact that we were able to do laundry and take home clean clothes!The convenience of the short drive to town and the short drive to enter the Sequoia National Park makes this a perfect location for your getaway. Tony’s Taverna on Wheels had great food. The fresh squeezed orange juice at village market was awesome!!We had wildlife that visited us every day. A flock of 10 turkeys crossed our yard first thing in the morning and again at around 7 in the evening. The lizards and the squirrels were really fun to watch as they meandered all around our property and the little quail gave out their quaint little call to each other. Also saw a buck early one morning, loved hearing all the birds calling to each other and hopping back-and-forth on the lawn.I would give this place a five star rating and would definitely recommend it to all friends and family who want to come up to this location.

Easy check in and check out. Very convenient going to Sequoia Park. Nice house, very clean, comfortable beds. Good local eateries. Had a nice 2 night stay.

Fantastic location!

Home is ideal for a basecamp into Sequoia National Park. It also is peaceful for relaxing after those long days! We'll be back!
