Your relaxing getaway awaits in Salem Al at Griffen Mill Properties. Relax and enjoy the scenery of ride a kayak down the Uchee Creek. Our one bedroom cabins have all the modern amenities and there is a community pavilion with a grill, tables and chairs for guests and is available for events upon approval. We have two other cabins onsite if more is needed.(check availability) just 16 miles from the AU Campus and 18 miles from Phenix City off Hwy 169.

The stay here was great very relaxing and stress free. The scenery was the best and sitting on porch listening to the water early morning and into the evening. Will and have told many people about this place. Will definitely be coming back when we come back down from Ohio!!!

Really perfect- great location, beautiful piece of land. The addition of a toaster and more dishwasher tabs (there was only one) would add to this. But we had a really great time!

Beautiful spot in the Alabama countryside. Great view of the bustling creek from the deck. Easy check-in / check-out and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Robert, the host, was very prompt answering our questions and extremely accommodating with our requests. We could not have had a better experience.

We loved our stay. The host was superb. The home was clean and our favorite part was drinking coffee on our porch while watching the river flow.

Wonderful

We booked all three of thesee cabins for our family to stay for our sons wedding to be close to the venue. The cabins were perfect to give us all the individual space with the pavillon to gather together. Robert was so nice and accommmodating to make our stay even more enjoyable. The views of the property were so peaceful and beautiful. I would highly reccomend this property.

Robert, thanks for allowing us to stay here!! It was perfect for us!! The property was clean and well maintained. I could sit on the deck all day listening to that beautiful, flowing creek!! It’s a bit from town but well worth it!!

Perfect getaway!

I’ve never left a review, but I feel like I have to with this one. Not only was it off the beaten path, it was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. We were actually sad we didn't book for more days! The area is beautiful and was fun to explore. We are looking forward to returning with friends! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

River Cottage Oasis

The property is fabulous. The location and patio over the river is so peaceful. The owner/manager was so responsive when we needed a kitchen item that must have walked off from a previous guest. It was truly a wonderful stay on our way to Auburn. I did trip on the deck walkway as there is an unmarked step down. While my knees got banged up, I simply reported to the owner and suggested that he protect himself from future liability and to identify the transition in some manner. He was quite receptive and gracious; making sure I was okay. The world is much too litigious and I am confident he will address for future customers to thoroughly enjoy! I still give it

Great place!

We loved our stay at the Griffen Mill cabin. Robert was an awesome host and answered all of my many questions in a timely manner. There were only two of us staying in the cabin so it was just right for what we needed at a far more affordable price than something closer to Auburn. It still smelled of new wood and was an easy drive from Jordan-Hare and back to Tiger Town the next day. We used the pavilion to host our daughter and some of her friends after the Auburn football game. It was perfect for grilling burgers and having everyone sit out to enjoy the weather. We arrived at near dark, but after seeing the site the next morning I am intrigued about the history of what once stood on the property. We will definitely plan to stay again in the time before she graduates!

Robert and Griffin Mill is such a peaceful, clean, and spacious place to stay just 20 minutes from Auburn. It’s our second year back and we all agreed the creek views, all the extra space, and how quiet and picturesque the location is we will be back again! You won’t be disappointed in this Vrbo it’s a special one.
