Llama Ranch Cozy 1-bedroom apartment just South of Missoula with WiFi!

Welcome to our charming apartment just south of Missoula on Blue Mountain. This tranquil space is a large, 900 square foot, studio apartment that looks right out onto our llamas. You can feed them some "cookies" or even rent them for a day hike out onto the mountain. Don't worry, we will tell you how to avoid being spit on! On top of that fun feature, Blue Mountain is one of the most popular hiking and mountain biking destinations in Missoula. You can go right out of your door onto miles of trails. This apartment is perfect for a short getaway or for those who need to travel both to Missoula and into the Bitterroot Valley. Please note it is a basement apartment, meaning we live above and also have dogs. We will keep them out of your way for the most part, but if you do not like animals, this may not be the spot for you. For those that do, or love to be on the trails, or just want a quiet spot to retire to, this is a wonderful respite and we hope you love it as much as we do!

The room was spacious, clean and attractively decorated. Bed was comfortable. A very relaxing and quiet place to be. The hosts spent time with us and our young grandchildren showing us how to feed the llamas. It will be an experience our grandkids won’t forget. I will recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful! Photos don’t do this place justice. Huge, new and clean apartment with all the amenities. And you can feed llamas?! Wow! I highly recommend.

Being out of town in the woods with the llamas, dogs and cat was relaxing and refreshing. The property is beautiful and were the accommodations. Mark and Amy were very nice and helpful and respected our privacy.We highly recommended this place and will return if we are back in Missoula.

The llama farm was a fun place to stay and very peaceful. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the bed that slanted to one side and sheets that did not fit the mattress very well.

A pleasant, peaceful stay in the woods.

The location was perfect, close to town and close to hiking trails. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would go back again given the opportunity.

Very beautiful stay

We enjoyed the very clean and beautiful studio appartment. It was a comfy cabin style feel. The Hostess added sweet extra touches that made it feel like home. Enjoyed feeding the llamas and petting the dogs. We also loved the easy hike on Blue Mountain, at sunset. The only questionable thing was the website said it sleeps 4, there was a king size bed and a couch. Which worked out fine for us. We had a great time!

Lovely apartment in the woods

If you like the outdoors, llamas and being in the woods this is a great place to stay while visiting Missoula. The home sits at the top of a dirt road and lots of trails are nearby to hike or ride. Super friendly owners.

Amazing!

As soon as you get off the main road and start winding up into the trees, you know you are heading towards something special. The property is quiet and secluded, but only 10 minutes from town. The llamas are right there to greet you as you pull in! The first thing I did when I got there was feed the llamas the treats that were left for us to feed them! The apartment is adorable and very comfortable for two people. You are downstairs, but it is your own space and don't cross paths with the owners. That said, you are downstairs so you can hear the owners when they are home, but it was minimal. Amy and Mark were wonderful hosts. Everything is as claimed in the posting, and they were quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this spot!
