Perfect for families

We are currently one week into a 2 week stay and are so happy with the apartment. Livia made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived, and nothing has been too much trouble. The apartment is newly renovated and is very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters). It has everything we need (big fridge, washer & dryer, and the most comfortable beds in Mexico!) and is in a fantastic location near a lot of the museums and sights. I would highly recommend staying here. It's very safe and everything is at your doorstep.

WONDERFUL APARTMENT - PERFECT LOCATION!

Wonderful place to stay, no doubt about this! Centrally located in the heart of Centro Historico! Apartment was very clean and organized - building very safe and quiet. Makes you feel like you are at home. Very close to el Zocalo, Bellas Artes, Torre Latinoamericana, tons of museums, markets, restaurants, beautiful streets. Livia, our host, was very polite and extremely informative. She shared with us all the great sightseeing around the place. We would definitively stay there...THANK YOU!

Convenient, clean and comfortable

We are very happy that we stayed at the Donceles property. Livia could not have been more helpful at one time offering to take me to a pharmacy to get medicine for one of our family members. The location was excellent, close to everything in the historic district as well as the metro. We had no problem getting an uber either. We felt very safe here and in Mexico City as a whole. This was the perfect rental for our family of five.

Great place to explore Mexico City from!

When it comes to the Centro Historico "Downtown" you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The apartment is secure, well located, and includes all of the important amenities one could ask for: wifi, laundry, Oxxo (like a 7-11) downstairs. Being able to walk to the Zocalo and so many historic sites and points of interest is just amazing. I highly recommend this property to anyone!

quiet and secure

Being so close to the zocalo we were impressed with how quiet it was inside our apt. The location was great. Security was excellent. Keys to get in and out of the bldg. and the apt. with someone in the lobby in the evenings. Livia and Louisa were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Apt. was clean though a few more kitchen utensils, like a teapot, would have been appreciated. Would definitly stay here again.

Everything from start to finish was wonderful. The property manager answered all questions I had before committing to the location. Property manager even got me parking for my rental vehicle at a really good price. The rooms offered plenty of space and had drawers and closets. Cable and wifi worked excellent the whole time. Service came every other day to do some cleaning. When i come back to Mexico City, I am coming back here. Todo fue excelente desde el inicio al final. La persona encargada se comunico muy bien con todas mis preguntas. Me encontraron estacionamiento cercano y barato. Los cuartos ofrecieron suficiente espacios y tenian closet mas cajanos para guardar nuestra ropa. El cable y el internet inalabrico trabajaron excelente todo el tiempo. Cuando regreso a DF, regreso con ellos.

well located, safe, and good customer service

The five of us (my wife and I and our three teenagers) really enjoyed the apartment. The listing was accurate; the amenities were as described (wifi, cable TV, washer/dryer in building, etc.); and Livia and Luisa provided very good customer service -- emails ahead of time; met us at the apartment; available during our stay. Also, for the security-conscious, this apartment works well: nice area, good building, sturdy deadbolts on building and apartment doors. Easy walking to the attractions in the Centro Historico, and a couple blocks from two subway stations. Apartment 4 is toward the back of the building, so no interesting views from the windows, but the upside is that there wasn't street noise either. A few more hangers in the closets would be good. Central location, secure building, clean and modern unit.

My initial reaction as I stepped into the building at 26 Donceles was the security of the entry door and cleanliness of the hallways. A cousin greeted me and mentioned that I did a good job of picking this place for our 5 day vacation. The unit itself was spacious, very clean and had modern furnishings in every room. The beds were very comfortable.Although, there is a night club on the same street, I could not hear the music as we slept undisturbed each evening. The 1 and 1/2 bathrooms had ample space with plenty of toiletries, towels and hot water. The kitchen was efficient also, but we did not utilize all the amenities it offered as we ate out everyday. The apartment is in the historic district, with many restaurants and sights to enjoy. It was great that there is a 24 hour convenience store next door. I would like to thank the owner, Livia.She is a very professional and courteous owner/individual who went out of her way to have a made our stay a pleasant experience. For example, she set us up on a tour to visit the pyramids in Teotihuacan.It was a great and amazing experience. It is about a 45 minute ride from the apartment. Travel time may vary, depending on traffic. Livia, always asked if we needed anything and inquired if we wanted our rooms cleaned and turned over each day. Overall, I rate this place, 5 stars for the security, location, cleanliness and professionalism of Livia and the housekeepers and employees at 26 Donceles. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Thank you, Martin

Excellent location and service

We stayed in appartment number 4 in the second floor. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly fixed by Luisa and her team. The location is ideal, (the National Museum of art, Bellas Artes, the Post Building, la casa de los azulejos, and the excellent "El Cardenal" restaurant are just a few minutes away by foot.)
