We've just finished replacing all the old carpet with gorgeous new flooring, added new furniture in many rooms, new linens for all of the bedrooms, all new towels, new cookware & bakeware, and much more!

ABOUT THE HOME:

Enjoy a peaceful and private getaway at this gorgeous mountain escape. There is no better home in the area for scenic views, quiet luxury and enough room for your whole crew. This 8,300 square foot home nestled atop Stonecrest Gold Course features 6 bedrooms, four with their own bathroom, including a very spacious downstairs master bedroom. For additional 1st floor sleeping space, the den was converted into a bedroom. The downstairs also features a grand 2 story foyer with a gorgeous curved wooden staircase, a full equipped, roomy kitchen, and a beautiful dining room. For convenience, there is also a carpeted stairway to the 2nd floor near the full size laundry room.

The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs, along with a large central family room equipped with some pull out couches for larger groups. Three of the 2nd floor bedrooms have their own full baths, and have magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. There is a bonus bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and 2 additional twin beds - great for a kids' room!

Enjoy the ping pong table in the attached garage, or go outside for some cornhole. Enjoy the large backyard and the perfect back patio for stargazing. The front of the home features a gorgeous bronze fountain and matching lion statutes, creating stunning photo opportunities. The home has a spacious parking area, as well as a covered outdoor garage available for use.

This home is perfect for family gatherings, receptions, bonding retreats, and more – we’ve even had weddings! Built in 2003, this home has held some of our most precious memories from Christmases to family wedding receptions. We love our home and know that you will, too.


ABOUT THE AREA:

Nestled atop beautiful Stonecrest Golf Course, this home is every golfer’s dream. But the area has much more than that to offer. In just minutes, you can be at the beautiful Jenny Wiley State Park for some family time, Dewey Lake for a day on your boat, or the Mountain Arts Center for a concert or show. Prestonsburg is also home to gorgeous scenic biking and hiking trails for the outdoorsy ones in your crew.

This place was s amazing and so was the host Mary and property managers RJ and Angel. Communication was fantastic and the host was very accommodating even making sure we had a waffle maker. The beds were all very comfortable and the sunsets each night were breathtaking. We will definitely be coming again if we ever get back to Prestonsburg.

Amazing family vacation

The house is beautiful, and located in the mountains overlooking breathtaking scenery. It is surrounded by a golf course. It is an easy drive to Prestonsburg. Our host was lovely, and checked on us regularly. We really could not have been more pleased. Thank you!

Spectacular Gathering Place

Everything was perfect from the booking to checkout. My husband and I live out of state but wanted to host our family and friends. This property exceeded expectations! The home was spacious and decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was both clean and well stocked with supplies. There is also plenty of parking. I highly recommend!

Jewel of a place

This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. There was ample room for everyone; fun activities like ping pong and corn hole. We just had the best time and I am glad I found this place.

Incredible Stay

We were coming to town to celebrate my son's wedding and we needed a big house. Not easy to find in this area. This house fit the bill and was simply AMAZING! The house is easily the best house that we have ever stayed at...hands down! Plenty of rooms and everything you could ever need to play, cook, and relax with family and friends. I could not more highly recommend this house. We LOVED it!!! John

Perfect Blessing in our Chaos….

We moved across country and the home we bought wasn’t ready in time. We chose this home for our stay during the week of Thanksgiving. It was a lot of space and perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice to not have to think about our stressful move for a while. Property manager was kind and responsive. The view was spectacular! Our children enjoyed watching the family of deer every day in the backyard. We plan to stay here again while hosting family from out of town.

Parking was easy. We had 6 cars. We had two dogs with us who did well and a neighborhood dog who came to visit and was a hit with the children.The entrance with the curved staircase was perfect for our balloon drop on New Year's Eve.If your visit is during the cold winter months, I would advise bringing extra blankets. The room with the bunk beds was cold. A list of things to do before leaving the house would be helpful. Also, the spotlight which was on all night at the front of the house was disturbing to sleepers in the second floor front bedroom. This is a great house and we were glad to find it for our group of 18.

Obviously we want all of our guests to have a great stay, and we try to bend over backwards to make that happen. Our caretakers always reach out via text to guests with their check-in information prior to their stay, and then send them check-out instructions as well prior to departure. I’s sorry if the message was perhaps overlooked. Also, apologies if you had issues with the heat. The house is quite large and we have several units, and the caretakers would have been happy to assist with the thermostats or to have provided whatever you required as the temps went unusually low. The front light might have been bumped by a previous guest as it along the driveway and we will adjust it. Again, the caretakers would have been more than happy to have adjusted it for you or turned it off had they known.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home! The property was exactly as described - immaculate, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The views were truly second to none, making our time together even more special.We chose this home as our son was graduating from KYCOM at UPIKE, and it was important for our family, traveling in from three different states, to stay together and make the most of this milestone. This home provided the perfect setting for quality family time, celebration, and relaxation.The caretakers were excellent, very communicative and responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our stay, which gave us extra peace of mind.I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're here for an event, a getaway, or just to enjoy the serenity of the mountains, this place truly delivers.
This is literally the house at the top of the mountain. It is very impressive and is a perfect setting for memorable photos.
