Ammie's House is comfortable & inviting, with room for the whole family!

The perfect place for your family to relax, or a comfortable place to unwind after work. Every bed has a memory foam mattress and the master bed features a luxury adjustable base for maximum comfort. The home can comfortably sleep up to 5 adults & 1 baby/toddler. (2 more with the provided air mattress)

Follow the lighted path to the private entrance. We use a smart lock for your convenience. Self check in is anytime after 3pm and check out is 11am.

Ammie's House also offers high-speed wi-fi, a full kitchen, private laundry, board games, toys, blackout curtains & TVs in every bedroom.

Parking is available on the left side of the driveway, in the garage, or you are welcome to park legally in the street out front.

*Please note that Waterpark access is not included when you book. There are several Waterparks in town, but none that are connected directly with this property.

Great and cozy little place to hang out and rest while exploring San Antonio. Fairly close to almost all major highways and not far from Lackland. Shay was an amazing communicator and never left us hanging when we messaged her!

The location for what we needed was great, close to Walmart, HEB, and restaurants. The kids loved the books and games as well. The house is older but it was clean and met all our needs just fine.

Quaint Place - Exceptional location

This cute and cozy home was so enjoyable for me and my family. We needed a quick getaway close to the fun and this place did not disappoint. The owner/manager is easy to communicate with and the check in/out process was super easy.

Everything was great. This property is in a great location. Easy to get anywhere. My only suggestion is maybe the walkway could be more even, especially close to the door. When I left it was dark and I'm not very graceful especially trying to lug suitcases to the car! Shay is a gracious host and very accommodating, also very responsive to all communications. I would return if I need to visit San Antonio again.

I had a wonderful time at this property. Clean, organized, and nice amenities. The host was very responsive and helpful to make my stay even better. The area was nice and quiet. Only 20 minutes outside the major city, which made it a nice and quiet getaway from the city, but close enough for the fun. Easy to park. Easy access and exit. Near major fast food resturaunts when needed. Close to stores for last minute things if needed. Costco is only a hoo and a skip away. A well placed property with easy access to conveniences when needed.

Spacious and Convenient

Sharayah was helpful, flexible and quick to respond to messages. The home was spacious with a good-sized back yard. We could walk to the taco truck in the church parking lot down the street, which was very convenient for a late-night snack. Location is close to Seaworld and not too far from downtown. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and Cozy Family Vacation Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was quickly resposive to any message I sent, definitely appreciated. Kitchen was stocked with Pots, pans and utensils too! We would love to rent again next year. The duplex was in the perfect location to JBSA Lackland, the downtown Historic Market Place, Riverwalk, Sea World and the many paved walking/bicycle trails throughout the area. I am so thankful our great host, thank you so much Shay!

Ammie's house was a cute and comfortable place to stay. Everything in the listing is accurate. The Master bed is adjustable and is so comfortable. The only downside is the bathrooms are way warmer than the rest of the house.I would definitely stay here aga

Short Getaway

We came to celebrate a birthday and graduation. We had some issues during our time in the unit with the AC, but Shay was very attentive and quickly fixed the problem. She went above and beyond and I would rate her an excellent host. If we head back this way, we will stay with Shay again.

The host was very welcoming, responsive, and kind when we shared our feedback directly with them regarding the cleanliness of the property. Unfortunately, it appeared that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned recently. There was noticeable dirt, dust, cobwebs, and several dead insects, and the linens did not seem freshly laundered. Overall, the home seemed to be in need of a deep cleaning.Because I have asthma, the dust and cleanliness issues caused breathing problems whenever I was inside the property. As a result, we ultimately had to check out earlier than planned.

I've been hosting for a few years now and have loved it so far! I enjoy making sure Ammie's house is a clean, comfortable and inviting second home for anyone who stays.

The neighborhood is family friendly, quiet, and centrally located. It has a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, as well as being close to SeaWorld, SixFlags and Lackland AFB.

You'll have quick access to anywhere you want to go from this centrally located duplex that is only 4 miles from SeaWorld, 11 miles from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and 16 miles from downtown.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex is a private space for you and your family. You'll have the entire left unit to yourselves, with a lighted path that leads to a private entrance.

You'll love the open concept living area with space for everyone. It is furnished with an overstuffed couch, a comfy armchair, cozy blankets, and a 55" Smart TV with access to all your favorite streaming services. (You will need to provide your own login credentials.) Perfect for movie night with the kids, or relaxing after the work day.

The master bedroom boasts a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress on a luxurious adjustable base.

The front bedroom has a full size bed and a twin bed, (which both have memory foam mattresses as well) a provided pack-n-play crib, providing ample sleeping space for your entire family. This room also features a smart TV.

The property features a full kitchen, with provided coffee, and a washer and dryer in the private garage. The backyard and patio are also private. A dedicated work space for up to two people, with built in charging station is available in the main living area.

The back patio is furnished with a table and 4 chairs. The large backyard has lush grass, and ample space for kids to run around and have fun!
