Newly available beginning in August 2024, this first floor 2-bedroom apartment is perfect for your escape to Portland. The stylish and comfortable space features two queen beds and an extra long sofa for an additional sleeping guest. Includes free on-site parking, laundry, WiFi, heating, and an awesome hot tub! All of this is just a 5 minute Uber or Lyft ride to all of the iconic downtown hotspots, while being situated on a lovely and quiet tree lined street in one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Portland. The easygoing atmosphere will make you feel right at home during your stay.
Portland's Oakdale neighborhood is known for its close proximity to downtown, while also being safe and quiet with plenty of nearby shops, cafes and restaurants, including the Rose Cafe just around the corner and the James Beard nominated Woodford Food and Beverage down the street. And it is a five minute walk to the Back Cove - Portland's scenic interior bay with iconic downtown views and a great loop trail for walking or running.

Hi, I'm Dave. I am a writer, musician and part-time college professor. I split my time between my home state of California and Maine - my other favorite state. I have rental properties in Portland, ME and Monson, ME (near Moosehead Lake) as well as Huntington Beach, CA. I've lived all my life in California but spent many memorable summers in Maine at our family camp in Monson.
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
The Oakdale neighborhood is one of the most popular in Portland because of it's close proximity to downtown coupled with its quiet neighborhood feel away from the tourist crowds. I love it because of the peace of mind knowing that I am staying in a safe and clean area but still just a five minute Uber ride to everything Portland has to offer in the downtown and Old Port areas.. Also, this area is sprinkled with some of the city's best restaurants, pubs and cafes which are less traveled by tourists so they are often much easier to get reservations and a more relaxing experience. The property is just a few blocks away from the iconic Back Cove trail, which follows Baxter Boulevard all the way around Portland's beautiful interior bay. I love walking the trail and soaking in the city skyline at Sunset, which offers one of the most beautiful views of the city.

Based on my reviews, I would say that the most unique thing about my property is the hot tub which is pretty rare in Portland. There's nothing better than a nice hot soak in the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing. Also, people love the original artwork inside the property and the unique floor plan.
