Val and her family made us feel SO welcomed. The accommodations were spacious, and the location was ideal. We were able to enjoy Freeport, Portland, and Falmouth. Truly felt right at home and the dogs were a special bonus! Would stay here again anytime.

Our hosts were so helpful in every way, even helping with luggage. And such a beautiful and maintained property. It was a real delight to stay there. Cool comfortable cotton sheets did not disappoint but made us feel right at home.

A beautiful place to stay in Falmouth

The owner, Val, welcomed us warmly into the well-equipped apartment above their double garage. She gave us lots of information about activities in the area and more, to ensure we had a great stay. Their two dogs are very friendly. And the garden around the house, which we had access to, is very green and home to lots of birds and even a cute little squirrel.

This is a really lovely, spacious apartment. Very thoughtfully outfitted with everything you would need. Great hosts and beautiful furry greeters! The stairs could be an issue if you had any physical challenges. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The apartment was perfect for my sister and I. It has a nice size queen bedroom as well as a full size bed in living room. There is a very well stocked kitchen and washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. We so enjoyed visiting with the owners, Val & Jim and received awesome recommendations from them on where to eat as well as best. beaches and places to visit. They are some of the best hosts we have ever had and we will certainly stay with them again if we ever pass this way again! Stay here, you will be so glad you did.

Falmouth Country Vibe

Great location, convenient to everything yet far enough out of Portland to have a "country" feel! The apartment was comfortable and the kitchen was so well stocked,(with coffee, beer and wine!)! Val, Jim and the pups were a delight! We'd definitely stay with them again

Affordable and comfy

We stayed for the weekend and it was very pleasant and comfortable. Rules were straightforward and nothing unrealistic. We felt we had privacy, and it was pleasant to chat with the owners, and as a bonus we got to interact with their beautiful dogs, which made it all the nicer. They gave us great advice on places to go and made us feel very welcome.

This is a WONDERFUL place!

This was my favorite place we stayed on our trip to New England. It had a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space and everything was super clean and well decorated. The owners were also super nice and helpful.

Lovely place

The upstairs apartment has a private entrance with approximately 12 narrow stairs to navigate. It is nicely appointed and has everything you need. Val and Jim have anticipated your every need. It’s was a great location for us. We wish we had more time to enjoy their beautiful garden and outdoor seating area that looked so relaxing We do recommend this property.

Falmuoth escape at THE GARDEN

Jim and Val are great hosts along with there kids (Peanut Butter Whiskey, and Jack Burbon Daniel’s). The apartment was comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything you would need. The grounds are goregous, would have liked to see them in another month. Had a great time, location was perfect for us.

Summer wedding

Ideal location, close to every place we needed to get to. Very informative and wonderful hosts with their furry pets! Fully furnished, even with an iron and ironing board. Stairs are steep, shower door leaked onto floor. Nonetheless, would gladly stay here again! Thanks to Jim and Val.
